Sounds good to me. (Appropriately) darker and scarier. More reason to have a flashlight during daytime play. -
No no no no! Get rid of it and stay rid of it. Totally ruins the atomsphere when you have people talking shit on the side the whole time. Should be direct only, until there are lootable radios. Edit: Talking on voice in direct to people you meet reduces the chance of being murdered I've noticed as a) you get a sense very quickly of peoples intentions, and b) it takes a special kind of asshole to murder someone for no reason when they're being friendly to you by VoIP. They're out there of course, but it will make many think again about pulling the trigger. This is the natural way to emergent game play.

More skins would be great. Doesn't have to be the german spec ops (bandit) skin IMO but lots of skins = good. -

There is another movement mod that has been posted in the forums before that had jumping over walls plus a ton of other good movement features but can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Had the nice touch of increased rate of breathing for a few seconds after - as if you'd just run 100m. Looks like arma 3 is incorporating quote a few of the features from that mod.

If you had said something constructive and potentially useful then that would have been great. And if being a fanboy means taking issue with your kind of post - well fine, then I'm a fanboy. I just really enjoy the mod and the gritty direction it's going. I just don't see what you want to achieve with your post. Right said my bit, won't waste anymore space in the thread. -

Some feedback on crowbar/hatchet implementation. Found both but unable to pick up either. Tried moving my secondary to backpack - when i did this suddenly all the STANAG i had in my gear slots dropped on the ground and turned into duplicate crowbars and hatchets. Was still unable to pick up and use. Had some reasonably good kit and felt pretty exposed so left it at that. Died 5 minutes later when a zombie broke my leg and KO'd me. so seems to be some issues with hatchet and crowbar, despite being a freaking awesome idea :) As i don't know yet what is is like to use them as a weapon, also not sure how the hatchet will be used for woodcutting - clarification would be great. Hope this hasn't been covered already earlier in this thread. PS Loving starting with minimal kit. Now in the awkward position of finding a ghillie straight away but having no weapon whatsoever! :) -
Bump. Changing backpack space usage would be worth a look in.

Weird - my guy has a beard. A good hill-billy one. Selected it from the character screen. I like the idea that they grow as you survive though. Longer the lived the character, the bushier the beard...

Well not really - it's just a common idea. Rocket has stated this mod is not going to be about any particular style of play. So punishment, if any, will be emergent, not build in. -
You are correct, it is standard, but it is standard because the vast majorady prefer having aesthetics left up to them. You like this format? That is fine. But you could choose to play only as one gender. it's not the place of a developer to tell the player how to play if it does not impact the gameplay in any meaningful manner. Tell players to not cheat? Good, developers job. Tell them they can't play with aesthetic features next life? That is not the developers call. I see where you are coming from. However, personally, the non-standard and sometimes harsh and restrictive choices the dev team have made make this game far more exciting than most of the highly polished and formulaic games out there. Not against player choice, but for this mod extremely happy with the way it's going.
