    Should've added that if your a city lurker then the shotguns, or the military ones to be specific are also a great choice, the way damage is calculated for pellets is 2000 blood per pellet and each cartridge contains I think either 9 or 11 pellets, either way one well placed cartridge can drop a player with one shot even at full health and will still severely wound if your a little off, and slugs while not as effective (4000 blood per slug, which makes no sense to me because a slug essentially turns your shotgun into a .73 caliber rifle, which would seriously ruin your day.) can help to make someone keep their heads down long enough to let you close in/flank a little if they're out of range of your pellets.

    Won't deny the all round suitability of the AKM, it's an outstanding PvP weapon and I've been bested by one plenty of times but for me its the M14 all the way, I usually take on a scouting role in the group I play with and this gun is ideal for that, huge .308 stopping power, ammo that you can find almost everywhere, the ability to convert 4 M24 mags into one DMR mag and vice versa, hits dead on out to 400/500m without zeroing and the Aimpoint sight is well suited to CQC aswell as mid to long range engagments. Add to this the fact it looks the part and atleast for me personally the fact that since I found my first one I seem to find them everywhere and you can't go wrong, couple this gun with a M9SD for zed's and your a force to be reckoned with.

    M1 Garand.

    Why add the M1 when we have the M14/DMR they are esstially the same gun. All they did with the M14 is add a detachable mag and rechambered it in 7.62 NATO, its still the garand action though..

    Yeah man that was my idea behind the crashes, it does help to make sense of why there are foreign weapons everywhere! As for the attachments I'd like to see them permanently fixed.. That way you can have 6 or 7 different variations of the same basic firearm, if attachments are switchable it takes a bit of the fun out of looting as once you've found one gun providing you've got all the attachments you want your never gonna go loot for an upgrade..

    Right I've been thinking about this for a while and before I start I'd like to just say.. If your here to QQ about how military weapons and snipers and thermal and everything that's not a winchester or beans is OP then go elsewhere. The high end loot is what makes it worth playing this game and obviously fits the theme that in a zombie apocypse we would fight back with everything we had, not destroy all military equipment and whip out the hatchets! Anyway.. I think low tier items should spawn as they do around towns/cities but I would like to see more variety such as; Ruger 10/22 or any .22LR rifle - A light, handy .22 rifle, quiet, small ammo should mean that between 2 mags take up only one inventory slot, the downside being its useless past 100/150yds(Could share ammo pool with a .22 pistol also). Hunting shotgun - Could be a Mossberg 500 or a civilian model of the Remington 870 and would act as a go between the DB Shotgun and the M1014/870 with better sights than the DB Shotty (maybe a fibre optic bead sight) but less capacity than the tactical shotguns (5 rounds). Tranquiliser gun - Found in barns and other areas livestock would've usually been present, a handy weapon for the medics and heros, knocks a player out for around 2/3 minutes giving ample time for you to bypass a hostile survivor/bandit. Varmint rifle - Scopeless version of the hunting rifle, in a smaller calibre, essentially a quieter, less powerful enfield. Survival gun - Based on the hunting double rifles used world wide, featuring one 12g barrel and one high caliber rifle barrel (.308 or similar) giving close range firepower for emergencys with the added ability to reach out and touch someone with the rifle barrel but very slow to load (switching between barrels would be done in the same way as mag switching is done now). Now, military loot should be removed from firestations and military bases should only spawn regional military gear ie. AK's, Bisons, Dragunov's, Saiga's etc. Then high end military gear should spawn according to nationality at chopper crashes where other nations have come to provide aid and lost their lives ie; American crash; M14/M4/M16/DMR/M24/M107/SCAR-H/SCAR-L/M240 etc. British crash; L85/L86/L96/AS50/FAL/Minimi MG(I know its essentially an M249 but hey, the more variety the better) etc. 2 EU forces crash; FAMAS/G36/G3/MP5/P90/CETME/PSG1/FN MAG etc. All military weapons should then spawn with random attachments, so you'll probably end up with iron sights but if your really lucky you might get a red dot sight, holo sight, acog sight, laser pointer, underbarrel grenade laucnher, a thermal sight, a grip aiding in steady aim, a camo paint job, a ghille camo covering, a variable zoom scope, a flashlight, a SUSAT sight or if your really really lucky a combination of two or three of these! Military tools like NVG and Rangefinders should continue to spawn between crash sites and millitary locations but GPS should be a civilian spawn because everyone has a sat nav nowadays. I think this system would be great and its not too far fetched from a story line point of view or as far as implementing it in game is corcerned. Would love to hear your feedback and suggestions anyway, what you got?

    True its not that far fetched, but what good would the 5.7x28mm be against a zombie horde? Its primarily a high velocity cartridge intended for defeating body armour, gimme some hollow point/ballistic tip hunting ammo for those soft and squishy moving targets!

    Wow great suggestions man, a ton of call of duty gear is just what this game needs... Yeah right... Ruger 10/22, or a CZ452-2EZKM that's what this game needs, a .22LR weapon!

    Today I was doing a little stocking up at NWAF and came across a Bison PP19SD at the south barracks, this is the second time I've found a Bison here, both times with no ammo, are these player drops or do they actually spawn here? I Thought it was crash sites only..
