Great idea, and i like also what Raymond added to this idea. Survivor don't get random improvement, but get improvement based on what they did, so if you run a lot you'll run faster and longer (consuming less water and food), if you shoot a lot of zombies or players you'll be more and more precise, the same for repair vehiclesm cook, walk stealty throw zombies, etc. It should be implemented with what Hetstain wrote

Do not do that, use the force and help other survivors, or play arma II or BF3 if you want to kos :P But it's true, most people kos, that why i usually follow other players, to understand their behaviour and if they could help me or would kill me. I always try to help people who ask in chat, a lot of times they are just setting traps. What i've learn in about 10-15 hours of gameplay? Be supercarefull, don't reveal my position, don't trust other players. But i'll still try to help them, and if they try to kill me, i'll defend myself ;)

Apparently i'm the only one who walk around for at least half an hour to find weapons ^_^ What game mode do you play usually? i play the vanilla DayZ, and downloaded Epoch yesterday, but i still have to try it. I prefer to cooperate with other players, but having threats like bandits keep the game more immersive. And i'd be the guy trying to help with a blood bag.......infact i die a lot.......but i'm a gamer, i've got infinite lives :lol:

Fun is the main aspect of a videogame. You have fun killing other players, your choice. You have fun killing disarmed players, your choice again, but brag on the forum because you kos is quite pathetic if you ask me :P See you on the field...i'll be the guy chased by a horde of zombies :lol:

Why do you suggest Teamspeak? what are the advantages over skype? and what version should i install (for windows there are "client 32 bit", "client 64 bit", "server 32 bit", "server 64 bit")? I didn't use a PC since 2003 (i think), i got a macbook for the last 5 years, so i need to learn again all the stuff about windows (i've got windows8). i'm interested too. I don't have teamspeak couse i used to play on console and just bought a new Laptop (i know they are not made for gaming, but it works great), but i've got skype. I'm almost a new player, i've got like 10 hours in the game. I've just installed Epoch, couse i read it is more based on cooperation. Since now i've played on vanilla DayZ, but there is too much P2P, it's almost always shoot on sight, not exactly my idea of a survival game.

How do i check fps in game? i've got a Asus laptop, i7 2.4ghz, 16 gb ram, geforce 750m. I run on medium, somethings on high, and it seems fluenty, but i'd like to know my fps. thx and sorry for the stupid question, but i didn't use a PC for gaming since more than 10 years, and this PC too is mainly for work. i'd like to join, i'm not great at anything, i've got like 4-5 hours in the game, so still have to understand all the dinamics. But i'm ready to do everything needed, i just think it would be fun to find some cooperative people, servers i joines (vanilla DayZ) are usually full of people who shoot on sight. I've never did that couse i'd like to go around with a group of people and kill as much zombies as we can, but that never happened, sometimes i found friendly players but they are usually on their way and they don't care about team up. I've played during the night yesterday for the first time and it's amazing, really immersive. Let me know. am i the only one that constantly get killed, followed, stalked by zombies? I can't approach an area that i'm surrounded....lol Anyway i'd like to see more cooperation, i've played a few hours of the vanilla mode and it's basically a p2p, no cooperations, just shoot on sight. That kind of ruin what i think should be the purpose of the game, team up and survive, helps other survivors and kills bandits. Anyway i've never killed another players, just zombies, i usually trust other players, but most of them are liar.

Thanks, i'm at my first experience in DayZ, i've played for about 10 minutes, and the first time i spawn i was setting the video quality and something kill me, so i respawn, hide in a bush to finish the video setting and i was killed again, i respawn a 3 time, i climb a stairs, i fall down and break my leg. So yes, maybe a server where people help you to survive could be the right choice for a new player.
