Is it necessary that melee weapons have ammo? because it is really glitchy and pretty stupid to be honest.

Before installing the update; 1. Run STEAM as adminstrator. 2. Run ArmA 2, Quit. Then run ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead, Quit. (THIS IS ESSENTIAL) 3. Install DayZ with Worrom's DayZ Updater, which you can download from here. http://worrom.com/files/DayZUpdater16.zip Because it seems that your game has not been registered to your Windows Registry, and re-installing the DayZ should fix the invisible loot bug, if not. Your game files are corrupted and needs to be re-installed, or atleast verify the file integrity from STEAM for both games, ArmA 2 and ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead.

That wouldn't work, because the ;ca should be just after @DayZ, and I know -nosplash parameter, I already use it among with many other parameters like; -world=empty -maxmem=2114 -winxp etc.

Because you're not using the "-mod=@DayZ;ca" parameter. AND the game has to be running as Combined Operations which is right-click ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead and then press "Launch ArmA 2: Combined Operations" But that parameter will do just fine because it is the same only in different form and you've added the mods AFTER the game boot, if the mods would boot before the game then it wouldn't work. :)

So, I was pitching some tent and the sound started looping endlessly, but didn't have time to reconnect, well after a while server restarted and I had to disconnect, after joining game again I noticed I had 1 extra tent in my inventory, I thought "Dupe Tent? gotta drop it I guess. :angel:" So, what happened? herring Good for you! :) "CA" apparently stands for ArmA 2 (Do not ask why it's called "CA"' date=' maybe it's "Combined Arma"???), it makes it possible to run the game as Combined Operations which consists ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead, without enabling the CA in your parameter you will end up having the "DirectX" error and many other errors rendering the mod unplayable. This might sound REALLY bizarre, but I got much higher FPS when I set HDR to very high setting, I have no idea what causes this. Some servers seem to have a huge difference in FPS, e.g. for me on FI 1 I have really low FPS, even in wilderness, ranging from ~20~30fps and on FI 3 the FPS can be ~50-80~FPS easily. Everyone just has to remember that this mod is still under development and is in Alpha Stage, people seem to forget that too easily and start whining about everything.

Wrong, the point IS that you don't need to make a new character just to play on a new character when your favorite server is offline. Also, I have a brother who plays on same CD-Key and it's stupid that you can't have more than 1 characters -.-

How I can use sound mods with DayZ ? Everytime I try to join a server with sound mod on it disconnects because it's not signed.
