Venthos is probably busy getting the EU server up and running I'm sure he'll get you whitelisted soon as possible , this mod is well worth the wait

As far as I know (never been a bandit have been a hero) you only get the bandit/hero skins if you have civilian clothes on. If you have camo or ghillie on you wont change until you put civilian back on.

I agree with Wormloaf I haven't bothered setting up a camp or holding onto any cars purely because of the choppers. Possible solutions are; 1, keep two littlebirds only and randomise where they spawn better chance of others getting them and stops the same folks nabbing them again and again. 2, change the skins of the tents to plain green or brown to better blend into surroundings and stop them sticking out like sore thumbs from the ground and air. Introduce camo netting to hide cars. 3, Remove all choppers and introduce a small prop plane or two this way you still have the ability to move around the map quickly but if you spot a camp or base or crashed heli you'll either have to find a flat area to land or risk a para drop.

NWAF was busy today was going to hit the barracks until I seen 3 different guys run out heading south all about 5 mins apart from each other all three running within 10 meters of me hiding in a tree. I would have been dead if it was daylight. Venthos new server is running beautifully have had no de-sync issues so far also loads super fast now, but there was only 5 on so will give better feedback when I'm on later and the server is a bit more busy.

I got an M24 off a crashed heli but alas somebody else nabbed the ammo for it before me :( . Have been searching for the CZ550 no luck and haven't found a crashed heli since the random spawn mechanic. Venthos could you tell us the % chance of the CZ550 spawning in deer stands

Ah well I'm only playing a month so I'm out, but I do agree with killer dude it's a lot of requirements for a casual group

Has any of the many owners of the vodnik tried it's amphibious feature yet ?

Venthos is there anyway you could change the skins of the tents to plain green or brown I think this would help with making them harder to spot from the air or ground . There current skin doesn't render properly (well at least for me) from a distance so I can spot them easily as I'm running through forests

DayZ Commander is now supporting Panthera , easy way to install files required Edit; Just seen on the Commander forums it only supports the vilayer version of the mod :(

@ Venthos , Not sure if this is exactly what your looking for, but this is the server provider MyDayZ.de use for their private hive http://windows.profe...ver-mieten.html I play Takistan and Lingor on their hive and have never had any issues playing. Their servers are very fast loading and smooth Edit; the latest beta patch is out (97771) will we need to update or are you sticking with the current 97448

@ Tommes watched your vid, lot of bodies up there yesterday so it seems to be the main hotspot at the mo just glad I found a coyote(24) and loads of stanag on the 3 bodies I found up there and got far far away. On a side note I banjaxed my GAZ around 107-018 it's loaded with AKM's and other lovely gear free for the taking. Needs only a wheel, it's fully fuelled and has 5 full cans in the back . I'm to far away to go back for it and as a lone wolf it's to hard to defend especially now that the BSB guys have a chopper up and running

If your the first to hit them since the server restarts I think you have to wait about 5 mins before anything spawns in (could be wrong), I've noticed this in vanilla dayz too. Just move close enough to spawn zombies in , then just slowly move up hopefully some loot spawns for you EDIT; @Venthos was just looking at the survivedayz thread and seen this vid posted in response to the removal of NVG's. I watched it and it and IMHO it had some good ideas that I'd love to see incorporated into your mod, if you and the others that play think they're good too. The first being lighting in the citys and towns at night time might encourage more night time play if people lack NVG's. I think the level of lighting in the vid is too much, but some street lights / house lights which run off of solar would be nice (explains why they're still working) And number two which I think would make PvE so much more intensive. The chance of picking up an infection from zombies that land hits. Which if not treated with a special antidote will kill you. Maybe make the antidote a RARE drop at barracks or Heli crashes. I think the chance of infection (which could be spread through groups?) and the rarity of the antidote would force people to be more cautious about agroing zombies. It would definitely force you think twice about shooting fellow survivors if there are a lot of zombies about.

Yep was reading back through the posts and seen that, thought I heard a heli last night. Thanks for the info on ammo, I'm not too bummed found an M24 woohoo plus I hijacked somebody's badly hidden UAZ packed full of goodies so I'm very happy now. Just have to avoid getting shot or robbed now :lol:

Venthos, quick question does the M24 always spawn with ammo or does it randomly spawn without? Reason I ask is I found a crashed heli just outside the NWAF yesterday and nabbed a M24 but it had no ammo. It could have been raided already but it looked untouched because of the amount of loot around it and no dead Z's any where near it or the airfield
