There should definitely be an option to change gender - maybe once a month or have it profile bound or something like this but to have it bound to my CD key is something I do not really appreciate :-/

Awesome news! Yesterday with v1.7.1.1 and latest beta a friend of mine and me encountered zombies spawning pretty quickly, also right next to us. We, too, saw 9 zombies around a deer stand which may indicate that the spawning meachanism is still glitched? Anyway, great work so far!

.22 pistol and rifle - because it is lightweight and pretty silent. Headshot will kill with one shot, body hits wont cause much damage though so arm well

Because I really love this game I would pay full price (40 - 50€) for a stand alone version.

NO As long as there are no meele weapons for self-defending this would make things over complicated. If I can grab a pipe or tree-branch or rock this would be pretty cool however.

and where do you come from? does it matter to you? we are all here to play this game i would guess... also, no one said something from a daily change of the gender, more the other way round, dude / maybe read some posts again? harshers forum rules? erm, what for? I think YOU would be one of the persons who get affected negatively by that in the first line due to a useless post and waste of bandwidth. if you are annoyed or disturbed by "us" then no need for your to read certain forum posts, mate. nothing personal but everybody has a right to give feedback on his/her opinion, no need to agree. getting angry by this? seriously? by this?!? yeah, you should avoid forums then because giving feedback/discussing is the main reason they are made for - pretty simply, ai?

I would also avoid quick gender jumping but giving players the option to experience the game from a different point of view (and this strongly includes a change of the gender) an option to change the gender maybe once/month would be fair. The gender will have much bigger influence in encounters than many may imagine...

as said, just to play the game from a different point of view^^ its a matter of variety, nothing more, nothing less. Are you afraid of dealing with female survivors? It's still a game, dont be troubled, mate

Thanks for posting the "answer" to this issue - did a search but just did not see a topic related to this, but just go on and call me blind or whatever ;) Nevertheless, the forum is here to express such thoughts and discuss about things like this, I am not here to let myself forbid to speak - this, too, has nothing to do with whining, I just shared my opinion - eat it or don't - IDC, dude. ^^Same here as above post, first time login @8 pm CET and it was way too dark - was not able to find daylight servers so my first adventure of dayZ has pretty soon ended! Too bad :/ Such dark nights are ok but should not be so long, maybe just have them shortened and not begin so early.

Since the spawnpoint will be random, how can you team up with a friend for COOP? Is there a way to spawn somewhere in the near of one another or how are you supposed to find your mate?

I would assume that the server is not on v1.5.8.4 an therefore kicks you.

I would also not want an instant blood regeneration; regeneration by time influenced by some types of food and drink (electrolytic containing) would be fine

Nothing will help your blood generate faster, but if you concentrate on giving your body nutritious foods for energy, your body can be more efficient with the blood it has.

I own a copy of Arma II retail/boxed version; when I now get a copy of Arrowhead via Steam will both versions combined work with this mod?
