It wasn't a minimalist post, it was a response to an OP which is a complete nonsense and which is based on false facts: Loot is not 10& trash 10% tools nor 80% food. Weapons spawn a lot and scarcity of ammo is very well balanced. And no, zeds are not overpowered, they are starting to achieve what zombies should have been in the first place. And I repeat, they are not overpowered. There, is your why.

Hello, Mydayz was a private community that hosted four vanilla Dayz servers, that shared the same database and were heavily protected against cheaters. It had lots of players, all the servers were almost full at prime time. The main feature it offered was their four completely vanilla Dayz servers. We all know private servers +1000 vehicles spawn with bazooka are ruining Dayz. So I am sure there is a lot of people who would like to play in a private vanilla community, to avoid cheaters and with active non-player admins. So, could anyone provide something like this? I see people complaining about their servers being empty, but there is no one ******* community that offers this. Thank you.

And I would personally add to the list: 7)Weapon noise. Make the zeds (As in the Standalone they are going to be persistent) in a big radius (Depending on the weapon, but certainly in a bigger radius than now) head towards the position of the noise, the nearest zombies heading faster and the ones that are far away simply walking towards the position. This would cause that all the zeds of the nearby location to besiege the players in near that position, and thus forcing them to spend even more ammo and taking the risk.

Skins are needed. In a game that people kills because they don't have anything better to do skins are needed. We all know in real life: -There would not be so many people that would kill people. -There would be almost no people that would kill for fun. -Most important: In a real apocalypse it is easier to track down people and to follow them and observe their actions, the world is bigger, they don't usually disappear(Or they log off) and there are more things that show how they are.(Not only kills.)

Hello, First things first: Processor: AMD FX-8150 BE @4000mhz Graphics cards: 2x HD 5850 1 GB Memory: 2x GSkill F3-12800CL8-2GBTD Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 PSU: Corsair TX750 First HD: INTEL SSDSA2CW080G3 ATA Device Second HD (Where my Dayz is): WDC WD20EARS-00MVWB0 ATA Device (2TB) Well, with my current rig, I barely reach 30 FPS while playing Dayz, sometimes I can reach 40 FPS at the open fields of Chernarus... And better not talk about cities, in which I have roughly 10 - 15 - 20 FPS. The problem is that there is no performance increase when I lower the settings. (Lately I have been playing at 1024x768 with almost everything set at low and the overall performance is the mentioned above). So, Is there anything I can do for improving performance? I have the latest AMD drivers installed and the temperatures are stable (Lower than 45º both graphics card and lower than 55 the CPU). Thank you.

Well, deactivating crossfire seems to significantly improve performance. Not only that, but I also have sometimes extremely bad performance when I connect to a server. If I close the game and enter again, the problem solves itself...

Hmm... I have it activated, and seems to be using both cards... Sometimes. Also MSI afterburners says sometimes that both graphics cards are being used at 0%

Now the game is hard. It is what I wanted. It is what we wanted... And again, people complaining because the game is not exactly what they like... I love the survival feel that the games offers now. Don't change it.

What the title says. It seems I am the only one who likes the direction Dayz is heading... Although I like playing in the public hive, I looking for a whitelisted private server but what I want is a normal Dayz server, a non modified server, as if I played in the public hive. I am tired, all I can find is the typical 100+ vehicles servers with super loot and military spawns everywhere. Basically, what I want: -A server that uses Dayz vanilla version. -Whitelisting needed, and all what is necessary to keep it cheater-free. -With no madmins nor badmins -No stupid clan which hoards all vehicles. -European server, as I am Spanish. -NO CUSTOM BUILDINGS, NO NEW LOOT SPAWNS. -CHERNARUS IS... MY CHERNARUS. -minimum: name tags off and bullet tracers off. Is it posible to find this?

That's true, defibrillators don't revive people, they are used in cases of ventricular fibrillation and some other pathologies which usually lead to a cardiac arrest. That said, there are indeed ways to have a chance to revive heart by some other combined means.

CPR's main purpose is to restore partial flow of oxygenated blood to the brain and heart, and it delays tissue death and increases the probability for a successful resuscitation without permanent brain damage. It is EXTREMELY RARE when a CPR maneuver restarts the heart.

Well, you use nothing when someone is dead, and let's hope you can't in standalone. With the new medical system, I would like to see different kinds of treatments to different diseases or critical situations.
