Providing them some help is very interesting. But only some help, don´t spoil them the game. ;) I myself have sometimes help some newbies loot cities, but without guiding them anywhere, only protecting them from ruthless bandits and showing them there are friendly players ingame.

Well, I don´t like the idea. The first time you come to Dayz it´s exciting, you don´t know what you are going to find, you are scared of zombis, you think weapons are rare, you find a guy with a military weapon and you think Wow that´s cool, I want to be like you. You are happy because you know adventures await you, you find a vehicle that can be entered and you are so proud because you have repaired the wheels, you are so excited to show it to your friendz... The magic of the newbie. You don´t even know about bandits. :rolleyes: Once you have been played for one month, all the magic has gone. Don´t ruin the magic for newbies. I wouldn´t have liked that someone have come to show me all the secrets...Yes, maybe at the moment, but in retrospective I think it´s not a good idea.

Don´t you think Rocket has he´s own reasons to do it like he´s doing it now?

That´s a shame. I like to have masterpieces in retail version, even if they are Steam-Only, I want to have the DVD and the case, and the manuals. I would even buy the Collector´s edition if they released one... Anyway, thanks for the info.

I haven't played lots of other games that allow third person anyway, in Fallout games I don't remember which one I prefer... Maybe is fov, which is slightly higher than in first person, but I don't know... Anyway, I think that a system in which third person doesn't allow looking through walls is indeed possible...

It is not for me if it can be changed for a Ghillie(which I don´t have and is very difficult to find if you play solo and don´t cheat) and a GPS.
