I was playing, the location is Chernogorsk, near one of the hospitals, the one that has tents. Two of them had the option, through the menu, to select "Heal yourself at field hospital". Is this a new addition to the game from the latest patch? I didn't really click the option, I don't like to risk.

It wasn´t private hive, it was public hive. (I think) I had the PC I always use in the public hive.

Hello, mostly what the title says. I am using Fraps, but depending on the server it makes my game unplayable, (I have selected to record to another Hard drive.) Also, Fraps makes videos of ~3 gb which last about 2 minutes, which is not very usefull. So, if Fraps is the best option, I would like you to recommend me a way to reduce the size of the files Fraps creates. Thank you.

Hello again. After trying Dxtory and MSI Afterburner I definitely prefer the second one. Easier to use, easy to configure and to select the quality of the video before recording, and with no mysterious codec.

Can someone explain what are mildots? I have played for months, and I still don't know what they are?

People like the game to be realistic, but most of them don�t want a realistic weapon damage system. I�m obviously not going to mention the damage pistols and some weapons do... Preface: This is not the first time that something similar has happened to me, thinking Dayz has one single problem people doesn�t seem to worry about. Today, playing alone, armed with a M4 CCO with 17 bullets, I encounter a bandit armed with a hatchet. After telling him not to move,(As I�m one of those rare heroes that don�t shoot unless you are almost dead) he started running towards me. I emptied the mag, hitting him at least three times. What happened after that is hilarious an ridiculous at the same time. He was bleeding, but he could run and kill me with his hatchet, and he was close to me. As I didn�t have any bullet left, I had also had to run. He chased me for about an endless minute until he fell of unconscious. Am I the only one who thinks this should not happen in game that is intended to encourage realism and survival? The suggestion: It is ridiculous that a single shot from any weapon doesn�t with a 99 percent of probability incapacitate you, at least temporarily. This is how I see it: (Considering that in standalone fire weapons are going to be rare.) Also consider what rocket has stated about a new medical and injuries system. -You are shot on a leg, then you partially/totally fall depending on your speed when you were shot, and to the left if it was the left leg. Then, depending on the damage (I�m sure Rocket is going to make an awesome damage system.), then you walk/run slower or even very slowly if one of your legs is severely damaged. If both of your legs are severely damaged then you are forced to the prone position. -If shot on the arm, then your weapon falls off and you are able pick it up and use it with your other hand(depending on the weight of the weapon). Obviously, if shot on both arms you are not able to use a weapon.(Maybe depending of the damage?) -A shot to the upper body should(depending of the distance, bullet type and part of the upper body) make you fall back or at least incapacitate you for one or two seconds. This post doesn't intend to focus on the medical system itself, but to increase the reality of the weapon damage system. I think that people who, like me, play Dayz and love Dayz for what it is, and for what it can be, doesn't want the weapon model to be dumbed down.

Hi, strange things started to happen. First, at the right bottom corner, white messages(as when you log in) started to appear. They said something like Gocha antihack, ban ...player... Can´t remember it well. Then, I heared an explosion, a huge explosion, like if a car had exploded very close to me. I didn't see any car. And then I heared another explosion, maybe a thunder, and an unreal fog suddenly appeared. I hadn´t ever seen this kind of fog. It was very dense, and I could see in a radius about 20 meters or so. I continued playing. The fog appeared and disappeared, until it seemed to go. And then, while I was being chased by zeds, I realised I had the DMR equiped(I had one in my backpack but I was not using it.) But I saw I also had a coyote backpack, a M9SD, which I didn´t had before. I thought it was a bug, because in my previous game I had had that exact equipment. But then, after some second, this message appeared: Press F11 to teleport. (I obviously didn't press it.) And then this one:(Don´t know the exact text but it was something like this): Objectives adquired, press F11 to see them. (My curiosity made me press F11) And I saw a menu that said: -Create vehicle -Teleport. And something else. I immediately left the server. I was playing in DE 3981. On Chernarus public Hive. I have some part(I think until the new equipment appeared) recorded in a video. Thank you. ----- Update: Please, now I really need help. I cannot connect to any server. The last server has given me this message:

Okay, the problem seems to be solved now. I have all my previous gear and all servers seem to work okay. Thank you.

WTF, I have joined correctly to a server! DE 3895. And I had my previous gear! I think it has been fixed?

I have tried joining another server, but, at the lobby, my name was marked gray in a black background and I cannot click accept to join the game.

Ah, okay, I will try to connect to another server, but I have tried 2 mora apart from that...

Can a moderator please move this to the proper section, now it is really a problem. I don´t know if I can trust that URL and I cannot enter any server. I have a video recorded, I don´t know exactly when did it stop recording(I usually record untione of the HDs is full), but some part should have been recorded.

Noone knows?
