Remember you need to run arma2 and arma2OA at least once in single player before you can run dayz. Just launch a random mission.

Im not the hoarding type but i have one tip.. dont use tents, they stick out and you will get robbed. Use an ATV, park it downhill towards a pinetree it will eventually slide into the tree making it almost invisible, you can have 50 items and 10 guns in it.

Thats the usual place for helicrashes, as far as i can remember they have not been worked on in last patch. The loot spawns when the server restarts, when all the loot is gone it will not respawn.. Only way is to find a new helicrash with loot.

Yea but you dont understand what i mean. This is an apocalypse, Food,medicine,guns, ALL manufactured goods are no longer manufactured. If these guys had any food or medicine they wouldnt drop it over a hostile area and HOPE some friendly guys would get it. They would keep it for themselves.

But where should the supplies come from? If so there should only be food in the supplies, no guns. anyway, there are already supply drops available on many servers

I know this has been suggested but i want my own post to make some valid points to why this should not be forgotten. Yes ofcourse accidents happen IRL aswell but. This is not IRL this is a game with only a limited of characters to choose from. wich has its limits. Here is a list of regocnition signs that probably never will be implemented in dayZ. -height -figure -movement (how people move) -act -character probably much more..... I can say i played this game quite awhile now and the other day was playing with my brother. he didnt say he was moving down to a car, and i didnt see he do it, when i came over a little hill he was just 15m infront of me. Yes i could or should of asked if it was him, btu i was very suprised to see someone there so fast and killed him.. We had a good laugh about it but it would never happen IRL.
