As far as i know alt+f4 during combat does not kill you so. there should be another raeson for your death, maybe someone killed you or hacked you. Ive lost connection before and been killed but thats not something that is a product of my connection or a result of an implemented "punishment" of a combatlog.. If i understand you right.. Combatlogging dont kill you, it saves you. And its lame.

Hello, The SA shouldnt need private hives in my openion, but if server hopping and combat logging, hacking etca is still in place. I dont see any problem joining hives... I think private servers are the best ones. even if noone is hacking on the pub ones

Sometimes happen when the server admins are too lazy to update the servers or if the version is too old for the current one.. sometimes its fine using a newer version to play on old version servers.. smoetimes its not.. I just say 1 thing.. ALpha -

Sounds like your getting sniped mate. When you have been around a bit more you will raelise where to keep moving and where its safe. If i ever loot barracks or somewhere that i feel a threat i always keep moving. many snipers have missed me like that. Its hard in this game to hit a moving target 500m away.

Its a game...... Where you are able to do stuff that normal people doesnt do in real life. If you want to farm stuff and make cookies i suggest you get a real life farm and go to the kitchen cause i want to crash a bus into someones helicopter!

Your map is black because you dont have a map :) easyest way to find maps is in supermarkets, but if you dont have one you can use this http://dayzdb.com/map Just watch your bottom right corner when you log in you can see where you are and find yourself on the map. Follow the shore for starters to get where you want. Then after a couple weeks you get used to the map ;) have fun mate!

1.7.3 Sucks! only weapon vs hackers gone, they did nothing to prevent hacking.

Alt+f4 fixed so now you cant combat log, wich is fine.. i never do it anyway. But now my 20days character got teleported just high enough in the air to die and not in time to log off.. Great job... I have faith in you! Btw: this was in a private hive. -

Hello, ive been playing for a few months now, Ive had almost all weapons and vehicles. Doing diffrent things like stalking, stealing, killed bandits, murdered a few for whatever reason... Usally involves a vehicle :) I dont think this game needs very much content, however i think its too easy to aquire everything you need. Now that i did.. Im all out of ideas to entertain myself.. What do you like to do in DayZ?

So the suggestions to my future in DayZ and maybe yours is: These are good suggestions, thank you all. I got some new ideas from here on how to entertain myself in DayZ had a fun run yesterday, Full heli we flew around all day hoarding vehicles, visiting heli crashes and we literally raped elektro, fun times! thanks to Willy ;)

By hunting you mean shooting cows,sheeps,goats and pigs? I think the only animal thats wild or acts like one atm is the rabbit or "hare" Standalone should defenitly have more wild animals, If its russia i would presume following animals to be added. -moose -wolf -bear -lynx -deer

Lingor is very nice,, but somehow people prefer Namalsk over it.. though that is also nice but too much weapons to my taste. Id say lingor and namalsk. -
Vehicles spawn at their places whenever the playing who owned them is away from it for 1 week or crashes it. Its easyer to find an already owned vehicle, search the small towns with "useless" loot buildings, people like to hide vehicles there :) And, finding a vehicles gets alot easyer once you already have one. So i suggest you find an ATV, they respawn all the time, why? because they are a death trap and people crash them all the time. Careful when you use one!
