Hello, i think the majority dont want dayZ to be a deathmatch. How to stop it would be to find out the reason why, why do a sniper shoot someone in the face 500m(example) away.? there could be many reasons ofcourse. 1) he likes being mean, 2) he wants his stuff/vehicle 3) he poses a threat to him or his squad (unlikely to him 500m away) 4) Because he can. Im going to talk about (4) because he can... I have myself had a few incidents i shot someone because i could. maybe because i had never before shot someone with that weapon in particular, it made me a bandit but i did it only to see if i could. people like to shoot someone because they can, to shoot someone to let them know you were there and you were watching them. otherwise how will anyone know that you are there and that you are good? ("good" can ofcourse be discussed(as in stealth or accuracy)).. Or just being in the right place at the right time.. If not then excuse my terms of being good. This suggestion may not be good for the immersion, but dont forget this is a game and its not real. and must be put to a certain degree of reality to make the gaming experience better.. If nto you could aswell go out in your rusty car,find a wheel, put it on and eat some beans right? So to the point of this post: I suggest post logout spotting data, when you DIE or when you log out from the server. In the lobby you can see who spotted you and with what kind of weapon or if not a weapon at all. They can push any desired key they chose for spotting. this will let your enemy know that you saw him and that maybe you had the chance to take him down but you gave him mercy. Maybe some lifes could be spared afterall :)

Hello. You need following things. First get Steam if you dont have it. On steam search for Arma2 combined operations(this is 2 games, Arma2 and Arma2 Operation Arrowhead) Then you Only need DayZCommander. http://www.dayzcommander.com/ Then go to updates and update everything. And i play on a laptop myself, toshiba one with 15,4" screen. its perfectly playable but ofcourse i would prefer a desktop :) My laptop is a i5 quad core 2,2 with some crap ATI graphic card. Its 2 years old. running game on low settings.

First of all, your character probably do alot more physical needed stuff than your lazy ass sitting in your boys room infront of the pc, so he needs more energy. second. LOL gl gutting an animal with an axe. HAHAHAHA. third. This game is in ALPHA stage. Wait with the whining untill SA is released.

Well youre not supposed to out-play someone or get a drop on them, your supposed to survive in a cruel infected world... Its not a kill-cam im talking about, its a way of replacing the mindless deathmatch killing you can get in your COD games or whatever with something of the same feeling of "besting" someone just not killing them.

White list is the serveradmins and owners to admin. Its not related to this forum. try joining servers that doesnt require whitelisting for starters, if you want to be whitelisted then go to the website for that specific server

If in all ocations all you had to defend yourself with was a revolver, then im not so convinced at your suvival skills in terms of how long you have lived or what killed you. the zombies you practiced on or something else. Im sure however the bandits you alert will be very frightened.

this has been suggested and discussed over many diffrent topics and posts. However its not done :D Lets discuss it then, Heavy characters should have some degree of negative effects like------ -more noise when running and walking -running slower -running out of stamina faster -eating and drinking more -Using more time to enter vehicles Lighter charactes would have the exact opposite stats. results of this would be, people gave second thoughs of carrying coyote backpacks and machine guns, heavy snipers etca. if bulletproof vests were implemented this is defenitly a piece of clothing that gives your character more thirst and maybe less movement, dependant on the clothing.

Pretty good flying there pilot, i like flying myself and being a safe pilot is the main priority, also piloting for your crew and not yourself. As making the gunners useful. I usally never play around when i have a squad in the heli. But its hella fun :D Also i dont understand why you train using that heli when its so much easyer to pilot than a Huey wich is the most common dayZ heli you can find. good show though.

Hello, i saw this a couple of days ago, and i dont remember the ban message completely but it had something to do with add_damage something. Its not the helicrash that bans them, same happens if they crash a car and dies or gets damage, they are banned for adding damage without a weapon. And pretty sure it is server dependant, only seen it on one server so far. Dont know if this help....

I feel alot safer walking around balota now seeing there is such bad shooters as you around.

There is so much i dont know where to start.il mention the most important ones. -less military type of weapons,vehicles and clothing. -more civilian type of the same stuff. -more endgame content is maybe the most important. -the end of following. Hacking, glitching, duping, ghosting, server hopping, force spawning. -Autogyro -working ATV's
