I think it's a pretty good suggestion, but being greedy, faithful and what-not kind of makes the game more sophisticated. Don't we just need a simple zombie survival game like DayZ now? If we fix the bugs and get every thing right, people will surely team up more often. Also, back in those good ol' days when Side Channel was enabled, people teamed up more because they knew who was a traitor, and who wasn't.

The Lee Enfield. Simply because it has more ammo per magazine, and makes less noise than the Double Barreled Shotgun.
