To avoid double post: I also saw several standing dead people. I try my hachet on him just in case he was at toilets, but nope...already dead. Shouldn't surpise me though, this is a zombie game after all.

Now that you say this...can you have child with zeds (at least im in the right position)? Really, tried to make friend with humans that i met, finishing with a panoramic view through my skull: now i know, i shoot before beeing shot. Already done to get there. Forum looks more friendly than the island :)
