Takistan is not for the faint of heart. EcF is as split on this map as the people who have replied to it lol. What I have found (I am {EcF}Skin by the way) is that my squad has had great success for the most part by relying on the basics. Covering your areas of responsibility are of the UTMOST importance in Takistan because there is such little cover to be had and resource management is vital as the OP described. You CAN die rather easily from lack of food and water should you not manage your resources wisely. For those that are up for a challenge however, Takistan provides an ideal environment to test your mettle. Since the challenge is what has attracted me to DayZ from the beginning (hardest game I have ever played for many reasons) Takistan has two big thumbs up from me. ~Skin~

Hello good peoples, Skin here....I have a question that I hope you may be able to help me with. Takistan...a foreboding place to be sure, unkind in every conceivable fashion including not having a medical tent or hospital anywhere on the map that I can find. Game can be had but wood is next to impossible to harvest so my question is two fold. Has anyone been able to find a medical facility of any sort (tent building) and where have you SUCCESSFULLY harvested wood from a tree? My squad would appreciate any information you can give me so thanks in advance!! ~Skin~

All good brother, I have chopped on hundreds of trees without success I believe it to be impossible. With the exception of a medical box on a chopper crash I have never seen blood or antibiotics anywhere in the entire map either. I have heard of this medical tent by a few different sources but I honestly am beginning to think I should put it in the same corner of my mind bigfoot and the lochness monster reside.....fantasy land. It's the same corner where Megan Fox thinks I am one sexXxy MOFO and does all kinds....but I digress.....

I did read your response stokvis, and i appreciate it however I have never seen blood or antibiotics in any barracks in Takistan. One previous poster said he has seen a medical tent and Temple, one of my guys says he has seen one as well. I am not trolling forums to piss anyone off I am seeking valid information to the whereabouts of this (mythical) medical facility.

Come on gentleman...or any ladies that subject themselves to this hellish game. I am looking to map out any and all medical spots on Takistan's map. Help a brother out!!!

Zeppa what were you by? Give me any details regarding what you remember being close by to that tent. Any information would be useful.

My main concern was the "Hive factor" and the amount of servers available to play in with persistent gear. Vilayer seems to be ahead of the curve on releasing maps, anti cheating/hack updates etc. When I filter on commander for HFB I get nothing. This of course COULD be due to user error, am I doing something wrong? I really appreciate the feedback guys, thanks. ~Skin~

What's up good people, Skin here. This is an effort to appeal a ban on my toon {EcF}Skin on US 303 dallas. I tried to appeal to their website but the registration process asked for my steam ID # and I honestly could not find that shit. The ban was for having a weapon and it dropped on me as soon as I loggen in the server, not for hacking as I have never hacked at any game in my fkn LIFE. I earn my beans just like every other swinging dick out there and I hope someone can get the message to the admins at US 303 dallas that I would like to appeal this ban. My set up was an l85 with thermal (killed the guy who had it with an svd camo at 450+ meters giggity) and an as50 thermal (found in a tent in between NW airfield and Skoda) apparantly the as50 got me banned. Both of these weapons I earned legitimately and have no REASON to be banned!!! I seriously cannot wait for the standalone where these issues will no longer be possible, but until that time I will be damned if my good name will be besmirched by a ban that I do not deserve. I asked my clan mates about this as50 (by far my favorite sniper rifle so far) and they told me a hacker must have "scripted" it into the game. I write mortgages for a living, I have no fkn clue how these assholes get this shit into this game in the FIRST place, will someone please enlighten me? Anyway, that's it for my bitch session I know there are a ton of servers out there but it didn't set well with me and I had to at least ATTEMPT to right this obvious wrong (at least from MY perspective lol) have a great day all and happy hunting....unless your hunting me... ~Skin~

Thank you sir, as soon as I got banned I cussed a lot over TS then promptly killed a geek (zed walker w/e) in the next server I COULD join, and buried the damned thing. Took me 4 NW airfield runs on as many servers but I have an svd camo now, so at least I have range again! Hurt me a little to see her go, that rifle was just incredible but now I understand why...I had no idea it wasn't part of the game. I checked the as50 on dayzwiki when I got it to check range and damage and just assumed all was well. I was pointed to this forum through all of this and have learned quite a bit while reading the posts in my office today, I had no idea this community was so active! I appreciate ya Mister Magotchi and the active admins that prevent hacking, I hate having all of my efforts burned by those assholes and I didn't want to be lumped in with the likes of em!!! I will see you in game!!
