Have they actually banned us all from the server? At work so can't check right now, but if so, that's fucking hilarious. You nabs couldn't just fight it out? You recruit in the bandit forums but ban anyone who trys to pvp with you on your server? Thats some sad AM BS.

There is a lot of time spent walking in this game, and it can get dull, but if you have steam overlay you can do fun things like flame rival clan's recruitments pages well you hike! Be happy! We're bumping your thread like crazy! Edit: Also, stop whining on the forums and get on your server! We're practicly alone here! No one to murder!

Why would I be mad? We're destroying you. I don't think any of you have managed to kill a single one of our members yet. I've lost count of how many of you we've killed. Not to mention the camps destoyed ;) All your quality members are defecting. The only people who havn't jumped ship are the steam summer sale kids.

That's the joy of this game. It is what you make of it. First it was about surviving, then it was about finding vehicles, then PVP, and now it's about destroying your clan. All good fun man. Don't get butthurt over the metagaming.

Admittedly, it's not very sporting to shoot unarmed players. But on the other hand, it is pretty damn funny... :D

To pick up squad mates or raid the high industrial spawns

All of the things you think are ruining the game are the things that I think make it fun. I don't want to help or make friends with the steam summer sale kids. I want to roll up to the hills over cherno in my UH-H1 with my fully kitted up 'clique' and splatter them with my AS50 from 800m. Play how you want, don't whine that others are doing the same. So some steam summer sale kids go back to COD or BF. No great loss. BIS has their money, and has that many $$$ more to fund the Dayz stand alone. People aren't going to stop buying Arma II because a few people are crying that it's too hard. Dayz will continue to be a success. I ate my fair share of .50 rounds in the beginning, just like anyone else who has stuck with this game. Learn and persevere. This game isn't meant to be easy or accessible. The challenge is what makes it addictive. No one should stop PVPing just to make the game easier for new players. Can't handle it? Maybe try www.hellokittyonline.com instead.

The same thing happened to our squad today, except we were flying it during an unannounced server reset... :( So it's possible the chopper will respawn where we last saved after 13 hours? God I hope so

A while back a heli was spawned(by a hacker) and abandoned on my main server. After an epic long fire fight, a clan ended up taking it and flying it off. I've spent a lot of time since doing some 'back country' atv exploration looking for where they landed it. I've found more camps/tents then I could(be bothered to) count. Only 4 so far had vehicles, and only one camp had more then one vehicle. I've found at least 20 vehicles. Almost all were in the middle of nowhere(no camps anywhere near by) and had a tire shot out. This leads me to believe that the vehicle shortage isn't caused by people hoarding vehicles at camp, but instead by hackers teleporting vehicles into the middle of no where and shooting out one of the tires so that even if someone does stumble accross it they cant drive it...

Whole squad wiped this morning after someone took their as50 to our truck. All of us put on ghillie's back at camp. Everyone who didn't drop their backpack first, had their backpack replaced with the patrol bag, but none of us were teleported.

I'm against having full blown scripted missions, but more world events would be nice. Something like a radio beacon going off in the woods that you might investigate that might have something neat at it that you might have to battle another squad over or that could be a trap set by another squad to lure you into an ambush would add some endgame content without taking away from the open world "play how you want" spirit of the game.

Our clan spends all week hoarding Mountain Dew inside a tent on top of a building at a secret location. Then every Tuesday at exactly 4am EST, we get together and drink them well throwing glowsticks and flares all over the place and spamming global with Michael Jackson's Thriller.

Me and a squad mate pulled a zom into 1 of the red brick houses today. Dispatched it in the hallway with my LMG. Suddenly infinite wave after wave of zombies. Ended up going through 600 m240 rounds myself before both of us were out of ammo and we had to run for the truck. Probably 99.9% hit ratio(straight down a hallway). Zombies have to be respawning in town well we're killing them.
