It would be sweet if they could add in an option for bandits for slice off the ear of a dead player (requires knife) and then it automatically loads onto a bandit necklace. This would be great for knowing if someone is really a bad ass bandit. You should also be able to take an ear when the player is simply unconscious, which will afterwards effect hearing on that side. Also, by the time underground bunkers come around I want to be mounting noobskulls on my wall :)

I expect that was a setup on the transfusion. I had a situation a few days back in elektro needing a blood bag and it was one of those global talk servers so i called out and these guys seemed really keen to help but others were saying don't trust them they will kill you. Anyway I am watching the firestation where I claimed to be (from the wooden hut) and see this guy jog in there and he is looking for me to help me. I kept asking if he had the blood but he wouldnt give a straight answer so i said forget it I dont trust you. Then he comes running from the firestation towards elektro (directly into my iron sights, i am perched at the window) so I gave him a few bursts and he went down. the squeals were highly pleasant, the guy was a cockney woofter sounding type from a clan called COR. He calls on global voice to his sniper buddies that were waiting to blast me no doubt, 'Awwww you were supposed to be protecting meeeee!' etc 'Someone help I have a broken leg'. This is for me where the fun part of banditry kicks in, the roleplay. I have a British guy with a backpack here so I charge out the wooden hut saying I got something for you mother fucker!! Ran right up on top of him crawling away and he's like 'Oh GOD WHO IS THAT NOOOOOO', so I just emptied a whole AKM mag into his back from the hip (no CH server). Actually not sure if any registered because i then took out the makarov and by the time the first bullet went in i think the ak ones registered because he died but then I was also sniped. It was satisfying listening to this guy whinging and complaining, calling me a prick. that's better than straight up Deathmatch, the scenarios this game offers. I like to stretch out a finishing shot as long as possible and torment them in the meanwhile. Even the most chatty person will go all quiet and just listen by the time its over :)

I agree that some 70s, 80s vehicles like stationwagons would be good and generally in standalone most the civilian vehicles should look run down, scratched, rusted etc Cars with roo bars or bull bars if you call them that would also be good, likely to be in the countryside also and should reduce damage a bit for frontal collision You should be able to armour a car out with scrap metal, but then it should drive a lot slower and consume more fuel

To those saying try low pop server.. Yesterday I had been playing a short game before falling from a rock and breaking my leg on death mountain. i joined an empty server set to night and it was pitch black in there. so i crawled the whole way through the trees to elektro. i am still quite some distance away when i got bored, hit ALT, and had a look side to side and there's a fucking gillie creeping behind me.. for how long? maybe 10 minutes. he killed me then. tho the tree line between death mountain and elektro is a relatively busy place, it shouldnt be on a server with 2/50, in the pitch black

this is a no brainer if the standalone is more secure against hackers i will definately wait a week or two before purchase. if its just the same thing ok i stick to the mod 100%. i doubt that very much tho

i dont understand how this 4 dollar key thing works, are that many people falling victim to spyware/hacks with trojans? or its people who sold their CD key for what, 2 dollars? anyway the ban did do fuck all. shame because there is literally no other game like this and not even another game unlike it that is worth even pirating

If i get a KO or broken legs I like to roleplay over the mic in my outback huskiness, asking Do you call that a Spoon? Pretending to execute, etc

even tho i love to play in 3rd person i do find myself wondering a lot why am i tucked into this corner, or running along this fence all stealthy when some guy could be sitting on a roof out of sight, panning 360 in 3rd person, able to see me regardless.. i for example notice that you could stay in the middle of a 2nd floor house and 360 pan all the windows.. then only approach the window when seeing someone. this is so far from how it would be without 3DPON..i would have to stand up against the window, revealing myself to snipers i vote get rid of it, even tho i would miss it dearly
