Once any bugs are ironed out I'd rather see the HUD icon removed for that very reason, people will abuse it and then say its a feature.

infected make no difference to murders, its been proven before. It just lets people troll others with zombie trains. Besides wasn't the movement speed change actually a change in a recent beta and not intentional. -

It's already been proven that infected difficulty doesn't make a huge difference to people shooting other people. The infected difficulty has intentionally and unintentionally been ramped up previously. It didn't save jimmy from being shot as he crawled away with broken legs crying for help from the guy standing there laughing at him. -
This was tried a couple of patches ago but ran into issues, will probably make a return soon.

If it had a time limit say 5 minutes for the people that get disconnected in a legit fashion. It would also need to advise you of this prior to actually joining another server so you don't get walls of complaints in the forum. -

Often don't have to crawl through towns, if you hug the buildings the vision bar drops. Just saying. -
The thing is swiftspear, and this is mainly about your second point. Alot of what makes dayz initially fun is the lack of accessibility. You don't have a tutorial that teaches you every single element of the game. Its up to you to discover (or not). Your looking at the pov of what game companies do now, and alot of people are..well sick of it. Theres a youtube video 'if doom was made today' which represents the point. Many of us liked to walk away after the first 5 hours not with 10 achievements and 5 unlocks. But with the knowledge that we understand the game better and have attained something that only came with hard work. Spending so much time watching videos and guides BEFORE you first play the game sorta defeats that.

I understand you Ausrivo I've been playing for a few months and have yet to actually kill anyone. Yes it's got me killed a few times, but I don't regret it at all. Once I thought someone was lagged out so I shot him with a crossbow..he didn't die..he turned around and said 'omg did you just shoot me'. I felt so guilty I patched him up and gave him a transfusion. You'll die no matter what. It's not about the moral high ground. Its about the journey and your actions during it that define you. besides, you gotta admit the emotion and pounding of your heart as you escape a volatile situation is far greater than just shooting and seeing who drops first. I had enough of that in -

Side chat should be added and it should be a low intensity transparent font that you'll only really notice when your looking at it. -
The idea is something like this. Group gets attacked, player B is bitten. Player B now has a 30% chance of turning at a random time within the next 30 mins. From his pov he will die suddenly, from his friends pov he will become zombified(similar to what happened in stalker, look the same but different) and attack them without warning. Would add a nice element of more paranoia. "Jimmy your lagging behind keep up" "Jimmy?? whats wrong"

I say throw as much content and changes as possible, cause once it gets to beta you won't really get any more content. You don't want to get to beta and sit there thinking hey this new game changing mechanic would be awesome..to bad its too late. When you look at it, the people that this has supposedly impacted/ruined the most have only lost 3-4 days of playing the game. Imagine what these people must be like when they file insurance claims.
