Stuck at character creating. So some little shit just attack our HIVE server... Hope it will be fixed soon

well ,I think you had fun, did you? in this game, somehow you will just eventually die.. even if you have a lot of good gears and a bunch of friends. you can't be prepared for everything. just have fun. make your own story~ no matter how short it will be. bring along some friends, you will certainly have more fun

if yours is a steam copy. then try right click ArmA2:OA and "reinstall battleye blah blah blah"

I just have two suggestions pop out of my head 1. make the LOS with a range like 7m or more. and if a player isn't moving, zombies can't see you until you're in a 3m range or maybe more. 2. when you fired a shot, make the effect on zombies like you've throw a "empty whisky bottle" I mean in the zombie movies, when there are shots fired.all the zombies heard it will just turn and head to the gun shot direction. like the ending episode of The Walking Dead Season 2 and if you imagine that you're a zombie, you certainly won't be able to see clearly. and because zombies are not using their brains so they certainly can't extinguish you from the scenery if you're not moving but smell you or hear your heartbeat if you're close enough

Rocket. I have a suggestion, really, zombies can see me from anywhere, and it's really making noobs hard to play.. well, before 1.7.1 it is already hard but fun..and now, the zombies are really crazy. and if you see the videos on youtube, you'll find those melee weapons are more like a hammers whichi knock people up into the sky

I agree with DAS1337, I really think Rocket should combine the AI now and before. make the zombies' sights like before and let them cannot see thru walls, and stronger,, that's all.

No, you still have to install the beta version like i do. I've purchased the steam version too after you install the beta, you will have to replace the "ArmAOA.exe" with the one you've just installed( it's in "arma 2 operation arrowhead/expansion/beta") and don't forget to back up the original one~ and set the OA launch options in steam as "--beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ -nosplash"

I'm having low FPS after the recent update. I think maybe it's due to the Beta 93825? I stuck at "waiting for character to create" sometimes i stuck at"loading" even I did managed to get into the game, I got much more bugs that i cant even imagine.. I think I would just wait until you have a new patch~ Oh god, I've just convince another friend of mine to join the DayZ game. he's probably gonna buy ArmA2:co next weekend like all the players~~ Rocket, PLZ fix these~~ thanks alot!

installed 93825 today, and always got the script #16 ,stuck at loading. even if i got in, FPS drops strangly, I almost thought i burnt my cpu.

lol~~ I don't understand what just happened... well, at first, i got into the server (VN1- a server in vietnam) and i found my killing status was reset. and then I was killed by a lot of zombies in Berezino and I respawn minutes later. I heard gun shot in Elektro and i climb up a ladder... then I got nuked... ----------------------------- ------------------------------- the next time I join the server, everything was reset to the status before the nuke~~ maybe it's just a joke from the server owner...or is it?

this is so amazing, rocket... you just made the game almost complete. now you make buildings real shelters. BTW, are you planning on fixing the zig-zag chasing route of those zombies, it's really annoying for the beginners ..

i don't think monthly fee is necessary, cuz we can donate for the community owned server ourselves. just like people donate for any game servers.

i would prefer game purchase only... and server owner can set up servers just like now. well ,feel free to make a kickstart, i bought arma2:co just for DayZ like a month ago
