Me and a friend of mine have same problem if its beta 93415, 93616 or 93666 I have loading screen that takes forever 616, 666 even worse. Unplayable if im trying for hours getting into a game.

I love how you are dropped in this game and have to find out where to go or try go to place you know your friend is or city with loots REALISM your idea takes that AWAY so NO.

Your ideas would not work in this game for many reasons, classes in this game is terible idea.

You OWNERS have very bad ideas, POWER HUNGRY? Change game is answer make a cooldown on logout that takes 30sec before your character actually logout instead of BANS thats to much power most of owners just can't handle. Example what will happen if i shoot owner or friend and he bans me from his server BECOUSE THAT WILL HAPPEN. Sometimes i already have feeling im kicked from server becouse of murder someone, can't proof it but i trust owners as i trust players ingame:P Thats one of reasons why owners should not have this power ban people on whimp becouse they will do they say they don't but they eventually will ban for not liking you.

[/quote'] In pratice your UTOPIAN idea of only play on those servers that won't kick you for murderer is not gonne happen eventuall you will get many different server rule sets with many different owners witch majority are or will obey to majority and carebear the game. Result you end up on being able to play on one server and prolly always full becouse of limitations of around 50 players. The essence of DAYZ is open to all and HARDCORE if you can't take that i should suggest you go play another game istead try change game rules to your likings. Your idea is very bad indeed.

@ WeaponTheyFear7, That would make all prive little clubs for friends and openess we still have now (all tho shrinking even now) is gone. Its would destroy DAYZ i for one would QUIT.

It seems some want safe zones or instance so they are not p-ked while killing zombies lol. They completely missing the game core game play essences.

Play smarter don't be sitting duck, don't go to all hotspots all the time. If its a deathmatch so be it its still survival game if you see guy shooting it out downtown cherno wait for winner and shoot them if they are finished. Or watch town fro distance and pick your target. Game is still as it was few weeks ago you just have to pay more attention to your surroundings and don't trust anybody. I still meet guys who don't shoot by first glympse of shiny winchester.

I think its all going wrong direction you get more and more locked servers different TYPE versions and lesser and lesser able to join. I prolly have waited and try 4 hours out of 8 hours to play on server specially europeans SERVERS are worse. Beginning when i started with DAYZ you could enter all servers np now maybe 50-60% and with already long waits to enter is a crime to find and to get into server. Should be open to all no every damn server soon for there own private clubs BAH:( Then there is this stupid daytime converted to night time so all the whiners can play day time its realy sad:(

I saw few weeks ago a topic on a game forum about dayz that discus a this game that have permadeath and survial appocalyps zombie game that drops you in a world with only a few things for survival and you have to figure it out how to survive no guidance or any help kill or be killed. So i bought the game for 25euro's on steam and start playing to find out i barely survived first few hours. Should i now complain and start whine and cry about hardcore pvp lol WTF OFFCORSE NOT i knew upfront it was a hardcore pvp game FREE FOR ALL so all who then whine and cry i say eather go play and have fun or leave there is no real in between. Why you bought the game in first place? You thought it was about "FLOWERS IN YOUR HAIR MAKE LOVE NOT WAR GAME?" I dont think so, so you all dont have any right to complain about being pked, if you dont like that go play some pve game with cute little puppys and kittens:P And leave the DAYZ game to those who wanne have some real pvp fun.

It play rather well for a alpha, but i understand why so many complain they bought in a impuls(as these dayz most young people do ARMA II) and thought buying a already released game. Most of them don't understand what a total conversion mod means and do to a already released game and alpha stages its in currently.

There are so many options to light up things i realy dont see problem OP mention. Maybe some little tweaks here and there for example: Houses where you can lit up a fireplace with WOOD that also give some light through windows. Plenty of ways to implement ways to make the darknight more joyable. But maybe some minor tweaks like a MOON that gives a littlebit more light or you can lit up fires in town. I realy hope it stays this way, finally a game that have some realism with pitch dark nights. Dont casual/carebear this game to much devs its fine they just have to adept to hardcore play:)

First one seems nicest logo but second right to point with name DayZ. But don't forget number one ALPHA T-SHIRT is what all this crazy Dayz WWW MADNESS is all around the globe made this SUCCES SO FAR:) Just my 2 ZOMBIES!

Why not implement NIGHTVISION GOGGLES drops. When boost gamme brightness it takes the whole night idea away give me kind of cheating.

Start night cycle at 10 pm and end at 6 am so you have mostly daytime and still can experience night time when you play after 11pm specially in weekends. Thats still 8 hours of night time. I 100% agains sync EU/US servers with same times having night/day times. I forgot to mention i love the night time finally game that have REALISTIC NIGHTS. Maybe some implemment some CITY LIGHTS or some FIRES lit up by players that burn for few houres?
