Well I have used a 7.62, a 300 mag and a 12.7 in combat While it is true you are NOT going to be doing much if any shooting a 12.7 unless prone, most the run n gun's in the game don't either. I laugh at the way most have no idea of the difference between M107 rounds and NATO 12.7's. They think it's just number of rounds per mag - L O L You can not make a sniper, you are born one. I was 19 years old, 5 foot 8 and 128 lbs - I know what can and can not be done with a 12.7 -

Ya know the saying: When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns Replace 'outlaws' with hackers, crackers and kiddie scripters with the loot chance on M107's and AS50's as it is - it is good enough Like it or not some of us are snipers and are still not killers/bandits. Lets take away all vehicles, then folks can't get around so fast Then let's get rid of NVG's and rangefinder's Then lets get rid of compass's and maps Then everybody but the hackers, crackers and kiddie scripters can wonder where they are, where they are going and how to get there. But there's more: If that don't work we can get rid of all gun's and issue baseball bats and axes. Do folks know what a sniper team is?? -

Think about the topic. so very many games today are very unreal - even the point systems say die all you want. Deaths don't count in most game - kills do. This is the whole reason we have the 'run-n-guns'. I think a 'death timer' would be great, a hour, two hours maybe twenty-four hours. DayZ should be more about the survivor, and, less about killing other players. Have you ever 'thought' about working together. At least that is my vision of DayZ. Flame me all you want 'Player Death in DayZ' should mean more, more 'cost' to the player. I also think Bandits should HAVE to wear their 'Bandit skins' till their numbers go up out of the bandit zone. I would also like to see a bounty system where 'friendly' players are rewarded for killing Bandits, be it food, drink, guns or ammo. Make the Killers PAY ................ You wanta be a killer, pay the price. Really think about it - In a DayZ world if the killers are not stopped, sooner or later there will be no one left - Think....... -

did you try his IP address? did you unset all filters in dayz commander? did you turn the ping up on dayz commander to 500ms? post what you do have and I'll find it, if it can be found. -
Number of vehicles on standard game servers

One more point is the admin's need to run an event. A check box - this makes the server check for vehicles that are 90% or more damaged to be respawned. If this box is not checked, no new vehicles respawns will happen. On my server I leave the box checked. However I have seen private servers that 'hog' all the vehicles they want/need. Then blow up the rest and never check the box, private clans are good for this..... So the clan has all the vehicles they want and new spawns are without wheels. Wrong - Yes Happening - Yes -

Sorry no little birds - standard vehicles only. I just thought it was 'strange' to go to four (4) different chopper crashes and no crew Zeds. I have not changed the vehicles, spawn or loot tables. Before 1.7.4.4 crew Zeds were always at the chopper crash sites then I do the update and four (4) crashes in a row no Zeds -

OK - This is why I wanted other admin's to answer this. This is a test server till standalone. The server is MINE (private hive) - no custom spawn or loot tables. Server had been restarted a few minutes before I left camp. There was no one else on since reboot - passworded server Before 1.7.4.4 even if you pulled up in a vehicle with in 30 seconds 'crew like' Zed's showed up, this did not happen even after Four (4) or five (5) minutes. So I feel both spawn and loot tables have changed alot in this update!! Admin's ?? -

Replace with an Alternative (without Thermal) Why We now have all the Stanag weapons we need. Lets be real the L85 is a standard 5.56 with a nice scope. Take away the scope and well. Vote it in or out, plain and simple.

Are you confused yet Anitun? talk is it's going to be the 21st December If you buy it no you will get an amazing discount on the stand alone one when it dose come out I didn't think that the mod players were getting a discount. Where did you here that? There won't be any discount whatsoever. No date has been announced for the stand alone so who knows when it will be released and what state it will be released in. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > OK now really < Standalone will not be on the ArmA2 engine - it will be on the 'take on helicopters' engine. Other than 'before the end of the year' I don't think any real release date has been set. I own all the Operation flashpoints and all the ArmA's and ArmA 2's There are 100's of mods for the games and DayZ is just one of them. The wasteland mod is getting bigger everyday - check you tube. Should you buy ArmA2 OA - I would say yes. I got a extra copy for 15 bucks the other day - check prices. I have 3, 1 for me, the wife gets one and I have 1 extra if a friend stops over. vehicles are WAY too fragile

Ya I did the same kinda test on my server. I drive the ural because I could drive thru most anything (Before) Yesterday I crashed thru a metal gate at the NWAF. When I went to refuel - I saw 4 or 5 yellow items and 1 orange for repair. This made me think wow I gota change my driving. Then last night I went in to my admin tool and it lists damage 'zero (0) is none - one (1) is totaled' After going thru 3 metal gates, 4 or 5 fences and knocking down about 10 trees damage showed .03 Now stuff does not self repair (like it use too) when you get in and out but with .03 damage it says to me don't worry about the yellow for sure, maybe even don't worry about the orange. Just my 2 cents worth -

Mature stateside PvE Only Testers/Players needed. I am looking for about five (5) or so DayZ Chernaus players. This is a test server password protected but up 24/7. You must be ‘player/Admin/Tester’ type person. The server is located in Phoenix Arizona – You must ping in under 125 ms, under 100 ms would be better. I get 70’s here outside of Denver on this server. This Server will be up till standalone comes out and is stable, then it will switch. If you are 12 years old, live in the United Kingdom and play less than 5 to 8 hours a week – forget it. If you are 30 years old or older live in central or western United States, play 15 or more hours a week, can communicate well and want to have fun on a PvE only Server. You may have a shot at this. You will need a working Microphone (Headset) and be able to install and use Mumble as we have our own server for that. Hackers, Crackers, Liars, Cheaters, Killers and Murderers will be kicked and banned. If you think this is something you want to do and if you think you can work with a team as listed above send me a message at kb5ixd at hotmail dot com. Get a real host... I use xstreamgaming - the have servers in the UK and stateside. All my support tickets have been answered no longer than overnight Full access database - They are great This is no bull - I rent a server from them and thats all I have to do with them. Take a look xstreamgaming.net

I have another 10 slots for PvE players, stateside, mature. Server is password protected and with the testing going on needs players but not problems. Want in e-mail me and tell me about yourself and why you want in. - Noob friendly - custom loadouts - daytime all the time - all vehicles repaired and full of fuel - We have programers, scripters, (retired) hackers and players - all working is make this a great hive. It's test time till standalone comes out and we're making the best of it............ Yes we'll even let Tater in IF he will play by the rules.................
