Interesting but how were these keys picked? possibly they were given to people within the company? Because if the keys went out to the "famous" if you want to call them that people of you-tube that would be lame...unless it went to Frankie then it would be 50% less lame.

So since the latest patch and I know there are a million of these "dayz is too hard now" threads but this has to be a bug or something i have found. My legs broke for reasons unknown (happens to all of us) and while I was crawling to a nearby hospital zombies continuously kept aggroing me for absolutely no reason. And I don't mean they came after me from like 10 feet away they would start running at me from up to 90-100 meters away. Now I don't know if this is a knew implementation saying that the zombies can smell your blood or broken bones but if this is a bug and not something that was implemented on purpose it really needs some attention because crawling shouldn't attract the damn glitch monsters from 100+ meters away. Just wanted to discuss if this has happens to anyone else?

Yes but making a shopping cart a nessecity is lame. I shouldnt need a shopping cart lol it may sound good to some people but in the long run its really not if you give it some indepth though -oh a shopping cart i can put stuff in >.> cool- and everyone will shoot you for the rare shopping card that spawned lol...

Yea its terrible but its the best they can have i suppose in a mod. they have minor ESP i think..lol and can you through shit hopefully its fixed or at least better in the standalone. I just really feel bad for the new people comming into dayz, they wont get to do the classic sneak all through a small down past zombies just to get a pistol..now they will get eaten just trying to slowly inch their ways in.

Shopping carts sounds like a terrible idea, first off they would be hard to manager server side and secondly you would be a massive target

Well im all for maybe only making it store like 12 clips, either way it would be a nice way to transport ammo without a car.

So would an engine but you can still carry around those, and someone had to put the box there.

Now, this is a discussion and not a suggestion. I looked around and didn't see anything on the forums. Can someone explain to me why: Takistan life servers have things like pistol whipping, tasers and handcuffs (with no mod downloads) however you cant do anything like that in dayz, I mean at the least it would be nice to put pistol whipping into dayz. that would make pistols a lot more useful and add in non lethal takedowns

never the less scripting in pistol whipping would be simple, if they can put in a roll dive then a pistol whip can be put in just as easily.

ARMA life servers are bad yes, but some of the things in them would be nice in DayZ

I would just like to see something simple like in Takistan life where you hit F and you smack them with a pistol and they go down for 15-30 seconds. and to make it more fair you could reduce the timer each time its done to you in succession so people cant troll you. It shouldn't be too hard to implement if those servers did it why cant Dayz? possibly we will see it in the future.

I just wish we had some type of not leathal take-downs that doesn't involve shooting someone precisely in the leg/torso. Hopefully they go hey look at this thread and script it in next patch lol xD

Exactly, If someone can do it with those life servers wouldn't it be easy to implement a locked script (pistol whipping)? or something like that.

So I had this character for 5 days and got him very geared up, two days ago I found a hacker camp to the north off the map on US#500 loaded with every gun in the game, the armour that makes your resistant to bullets and a GAZ, I took the car and started driving to my camp that used to be near Devils Castle. I was just about there, and at this time it about 4 AM server time and only one other guy was online. Now what are the chances of someone finding you driving in the middle of the woods at night time? anyways he shot up the car and killed me, no harm done i guess I went back to my camp and re-armed. Well after walking a ways north again i found a massive amount of "Dummy" corpses standing around they all had the name of that hacker (whos name i cant remember) anyways me and a friend found his camp and stole some stuff and took off. back at my camp I put food and supplies in the tents and loaded up a truck my friend found with some gas. Then we saved everything and I logged off for the night. Surprise comes when i get on in the morning and my character is at least 100 miles outside of the map in a barren area, still wearing his ghille suit however all of my gear and I mean all of it including my backpack and guns were gone, All I had was a Ghille suit on my character. My friend logged on and said my guy was dead at the camp and all of his stuff was on the body. the tents were completely empty and the truck was also empty. What could have done this? or a better question could be who? Thankfully I logged onto some Russian server and there was a dead body with most of what I had still on it so I didn't loose much, but did the hacker do this or did the server mess up? My gear was gone but my friend who logged off right next to me still had his. Also whenever I would log in my character would go unconscious for 5-6mins for no reason and I don't server hop so any ideas? -Playing on a new server now because I think that one is filled with hackers.

sounds like what happend to me, Im still changing servers though because out of the 3 camps I have found all of them have obvious sighns of duplicating. I meant who the hell has 20 pairs of NV goggles and 10 spare ghille suits laying around?
