CPR will not restart a heart it will only keep blood flowing if all you have to do is CPR on a guy to revive him then f that but if doing CPR will keep that frame open longer long enough for someone to get the defibs there then more power to the game

Okay Currently in the mod you can get infected and its pretty bad since there are little to no antibiotics Well tell me this -In real life you can get over these things/ you can fight them off- however in DayZ all characters must have AIDS or something because we have little to no immune system what im saying is add in a variable that makes you eventually "not be sick" if I can put it any simpler way after living for like 3 hours having to eat everything in sight to live and never not being sick I think there needs to be a factor that will eventually make you not sick

To call out a few of the people who did this to one of my threads id like to state Defibs can Restart a heart they can revive a person and thats a big CAN I am a lifeguard and we were shown guides on how to defib people and what the result of the defibing would bring most of the time the purpose is to keep the person alive long enough for the paramedics to arrive however there have been cases where people have restarted hearts with them for the sake of authenticity and not realism I have a big guess that Dean will involve a mechanic that will allow survivors to be revived in a short time frame possibly 2 minutes after death -or even a shorter period of time- within these two minutes the body would start to shutdown so it would not be total death yet Also as many people said on a thread I made pertaining to this topic, many called the idea "casual" and it had no place in DayZ Well I think there should be a mechanic to revive players would sure make me want to play the medic alot more

my advice would be to hit up the larger town and scramble for a hunting knife, matches water can, a tin can and a hatchet then you can live off the land and figure out that next plan of action the server I currently play on gives players one box of antibiotics at spawn so every now and again I head to the shore to kill a few people to get a good stock of the stuff.

Possibly however I could see alot more "bait" tactics comming into play "oh come to our trader camp so we can take your stuff" or vise versa "Hey he just said he has a camp for trading lets go rob him"
