I would think that you might have to find a recepie for it or your character might have to be smart -Or just put a recepie for it in the game- It really isn't that hard to make, and it does have some crazy uses (Like Cutting through tank armor) But what real use could you have for it? I dont see any places it would come in handy dayz wise, unless theres some option to melt a car with it Lets just do what Hetstaine Said

I dont know man, I picked up a set of lockpicks and within in an hour opened 4 door locks, and a eternity safe without having any know-how so I would say picking a lock is pretty simple in real life the picks I had were police grade as well so they made things alot easyer.

The Standard for Police is a Glock 17 I believe. If I am wrong I garentee Gews will correct me In PA where I live that is the Standard though for Police Officers. For the ARMY I think the m9 is used by a certain branch but it is very common so I wouldn't doubt that Diddums

M9 Should be the most easy handgun other than a glock/Colt to recognize
