:) I was thinking the same, but this is all placeholder (or at least it better be) because lets face it 2-3 bullets to a vest isnt going to make it useless by a long shot. and shooting someone in the arm isnt going to break the magazines stored in the chest pockets. I am sure it will be fixed. its on the same level as pin-pointing where blood comes from depending on where you got shot. Items are stored at point A and point B on the body, if the attacker hits point A or B then items at point A or B should have a % chance to get a % damage. :P im sure you said all this in your post OP Also you need to take into consideration the life of your character is sped up like x20 shoes take a year to wear-down in a normal persons life, and most runners goes through shoes in about a month.

I must say, I don't take a shotty over an Assault Rifle any day, but In some Situations a Remington 870 can mean sudden death to the receiving end Its more of a put em down gun and when I say that I mean, you shoot em and they are knocked out in most cases.

I would rather have the option to set the shoe size and dominant hand not a random thing

Id like too see something we can write in and possibly leave somewhere, maybe in a tent car or someone an pick it up and read it after I am dead. now before you go and yell "This has already been discussed" Id like to know if this is going to be implemented in the mod soon because last patch I read something somewhere along the lines that we were getting something like this in an upcomming patch. anyone know? anyone got a story of what they would do with this?

No luck getting ahold of razor so far

After Reading one of the comments, not going to point them out but I want dayz to one day be a game where I can sit down around a fire, possibly loot a guitar and invite other people to join me

So, ive been playing on the offical servers the last 3-4 days and along my travels I have found three very rare items 2 mountains dews and NV Goggles But no Antibiotics I found a tent, and im trying to sleep in it to cure infection but it seems to be failing. anyone know how to cure infection by sleeping?

Really to put it simply they just need to make it easier to be a hero its super DUPER extreme Apple Dandy Easy to be a bandit you just shoot at people and hope you kill them, whats so hard about that? Dont like that strange guy barking at you in a forgeighn accent? calling you a prawn? shoot him in the head and he goes away for good. while being a hero you have to talk people down, make them calm. Offer them anything you have. hope they dont decide to mug you for the Lols there alot of negatives to being a hero. so instead of giving heroes boosts just make it easyer to play as one. I really hope in the SA a player who knows how to doctor people will be an "asset" and not KOSed

I cant figure out why you killed a guy for no reason

I dont know how hard it would be to config an item to hold data (I know the Standalone will have it) but still. It would be basically a book that held data, that doesn't sound too hard to implement. Just like maps, I wish maps were player specific, and stealing someone elses map could give you locations of drop points and bases. but that seems too hard to implements for some reason.... man there is alot that should be in the mod that isnt lol...

That is awful There is currently a bug where infection divides by 0 meaning you get infected way more than you should. No idea why it hasn't been hot-fixed yet but oh well. next week or so we should have a fix. I might just wait until then and start playing again lol.

Well in the SA im sure we have all saw the ability to put our rifle on our backs and im sure we can holster pistols Now lets get this simple feature in the Base Vanilla Mod. I sure as hell would feel alot safer and it would be alot more player freindly to tell someone to put their gun away, instead of saying DROP IT! DROP IT RIGHT NOW! the time it takes to pull something out in the mod is plenty of time to realise the person is going to shoot you to react, versus the lowering animation currently is fast and subtle. In the jist just plug in the ability to put your gun on your back and your pistol in your holster. having no guns at any time. Thread has got a bit of attention, Ill show it to razor soonish hopefully and maybe he will take this into consideration.

exactly and to clerify im talking put your gun on your back or stick your pistol in a holster I know its not hard to do because wasteland does it and you dont have to download anything for that. if we can do combat rolls why the hell isnt this in this game yet?

How about instead you can add in more holsters and slings for more weapons I know damn well you can carry two rifles on your back in real life.
