    No it is not out, the BMRF guys are running a test server for it and let me tell you, it sucks so far. A bigger turn off than the last patch was.

    The whole idea of infection needs to be toned down, because the server restarted and I was un-aware of my infected wound and when you log out of a wound it auto-infects you Infection should occur half as often as it does currently. as for everything else its fine, but when im far north and a tree stand that spawns infinite zombies gets me sick....it makes me want to do nothing more than rage quit and go play another version of dayz. The crafting is nifty! it really is guys but finding the loot to craft? well thats not really possible.

    You get a message that you have to cure whatever you have in 15 minutes but it really isnt possible to cure it when there is no cure lmao.

    Well everyone breaking news just played the 1.8 patch and it is going to turn alot of people off dayz imo got hit once and caught sepsis.. went through elektro cherno and berenzio looking for anything and all I found were dead bodies and tin cans. so with that I must conclude DayZ 2013 award for BEST TIN CAN SIMULATOR

    Indeed, but if the zombies are impossible to sneak past, or avoid then making them rare creates a whole new warz mess. And Im not even going to expand on that steaming pile of dookie.

    I dont know, im sure you could find a rust bucket and find out whats wrong with it and steal parts from other cars. Its not supposed to be easy.

    I can completely agree, but if you have no weapons to kill said zombies this will be a WarZish thing again. there is no point for zombies in a zombie game if you cant kill them. (unless you are playing a horror game) Now I took melee weapons into consideration, and those will be as useless as a rare gun if the zombies are too fast and glitchy to hit

    While I can agree with Orlok and say that a Boss has no place in the dayz universe I can say that your intentions are well placed. where I can disagree with orlok is putting in some sort of mechanic that would enforce or encourage player grouping a bit more. not a "forced" play style but something to make people want to group up. when I meet a friendly that I really don't know my first thoughts are "how fast can I get away from this guy and never speak to him again without killing him" its not that im a bandit, Im just not a people person in most DayZ situations.

    lets hope dean uses his brain and makes it so it fits in with the medical system as in instead of doing trauma damage it would do blunt force damage, where in a way would knock you off balance, but not make you bleed. and would still hit quite hard
