I just cant bare to play DayZ anymore. This isn't a Rant its an attempt to draw attention to a serious problem in dayz that needs to be fixed.... How many of you have had the bug where you shoot someone, and they go unconscious, and then you proceed to fill their passed out body with all the ammo you have, and said bullets do no damage because of the Retarded bug that causes unconscious players to be in some sort of "God mode" then said player gets up and manages to shoot you once or twice and you fall over dead. This has happened to me on countless occasions in the past week, and the final straw was broke when it happened on Musty Epoch Server. I cant play this game anymore if im going to spend hours gearing up only to get killed by a epic game flaw that still isn't fixed.

I didnt read all of your post, mostly because id like to tack on that Rocket has stated that the diseases will be a bit more "in-depth" in the SA this means that a zombie will only have a sickness tagged to it if it A: walked through a viral hotspot B. Attacked a Player that was sick And as for the sickness, there will be 11 different variations of disease and sickness in the SA, so fret not you will not have to deal with the terrible infection system we have to deal with currently. (Im sorry to all of those Mod Devs that put hard work, but you just cant have a good system when the zombies get a % chance to infect you) And to add on more, I will say that in the new patch for the mod having a 1% infection rate is good, for the current system anyways.

Well my ping is about 40 when im on musty and I normally don't play server that have a ping above 100 So, Im not sure But I have literally lost hours of game-play because of this. The only way to get around it is to use the drag body feature and hold them until they die.... and that can be avoided by logging out. and it happend on all servers and variations of the mod, and only when they are knocked out, im talking about shooting someone 100 times and then they fall over dead after they got a few rounds back off.

DAMN I get infected alot for that 1% And to answer MZtLY, to cure sepsis you need sterile wipes.

You cant get banned for hacked items in your inventory only if you did the hacking yourself. A hacker Cannot get you Global Banned No way no how. Not unless he has your CD key

Will you please stop posting the same thing, I don't think anyone wants to see you live stream 1.8 especially when anyone can access it right now.

Okay, I made this thread because google isnt helping me here what are the differences between Epoch and Overwatch? Ive played alot of Overwatch and love the skins and sounds, but is that all it has? does epoch have all that? please explain

Alright so, after examining and studying all of the footage that we have of the Standalone, and after taking note of the planned features that dean has confirmed I can only come up with this conclusion. Now before your fanboyism kicks in don't read this thread as a slam to dayz, because it is not that at all. It is a concern. Dean plans on making Guns and Bullets Rarers than Antibiotics are in the mods current state, so rare that having a gun with bullets would be like a huge thing all together. Now this is fine and sounds like a nifty game-play feature, however. With the state of the zombies being very fast, and very "Laggy" (Sliding around, basically short range teleporting when very close due to micro-lag/desync stuff like that) You cant have the zombies glitchy and running at mach 5 if weapons are rare now this can be balanced out by making them very un-aware like the early days of the mod, where crawling through a town only to find a makarov with no ammo and some beans was a feat. (and actually possible) My next thought Id like to bring up is Vehicles. Vehicles are supposed to be redone and remade, does this mean that dean is going to do it right? When I say do it right I mean give us the ability to salvage from scrapped cars and literally build our own working one from scratch. This doesn't sound too hard to implement and would solve the issue of cars being the rarest god-damn thing on the face of Chernarus. That is all for now

What I am wondering, does Epoch have everything Overwatch has? primarily the skins, There are so many sweet skins in Overwatch Does Epoch have skins? because if it does I might OPt back over to Epoch, but probably not Musty epoch primarly because I want a crowded server and good ol musty has 20 people on max most of the time .

Alright aside from the silly title, I just plugged into the new 1.8 patch and I must say, it will be brutal. I have played the test patch so... let me give you a heads up you thought infection was bad last patch? well in this one you can get different types of infection like sepsis I logged in got hit by a zombie before I even fully spawned caught sepsis. yea no idea how to cure it but its bad. next up, after going through cherno, elektro and berenzio I found only tin cans, and more dead bodies than I have ever witnessed in my entire life of dayz Is this patch a good one? Well, Lets hope Razer downtones the tin cans because pretty soon people will be using tin cans to PVP in dayz no joke :p

They did not everything is much worse now, once you get "hit" you have 15 minutes to find a sterile wipe to clean your wounds if you don't clean the wound, you get infected and loose 1 blood/sec vehicles still gets hogged that will never get fixed. Antibiotics are still rare, but medical supplies actually spawn in hospitals again! there is a crafting system now....but the stuff you need to craft is so rare good luck ever using the system. Everything is also super rare now, such as guns and ammo, and the zombies while are alot better need their detection rate tuned down like .5% to be perfect.
