M1911 all day long. A flashlight highlights your position and the 1911 is 1 shot kill to the chest in zeds. The G17 is a close second for me though, simply because its cool.

Two friends and I got in and out of the NW airfield the other night despite knowing there was at least 3 other people around the same area. We did it with care, we didn't aggro a single zombie and we got two player kills, one from long range, because people seem to think that sitting on top of buildings is a good idea. You didn't lose because you died. You've lost because you've thrown in the towel so quickly.

They are not broken. One of our guys on the coast found one, he jumped in and glee'd like fuck on TS about finding NVG's and a FN FAL. Then he got sniped out of it, and went back to see two player helo's circling it.

The loot table isn't always updated. If the game spawns a weapon on the ground (Spawns it, not off a player) I'll pick it up. Can always email Rocket and explain what happened.

Stop shitting yourselves. Spawn rate was increased, heard they were rare before the patch, now we found ~4 in a night.

Look for servers that are 'setting up' or 'briefing' - they are easier to connect to initially. Also calm your rage. Postprocessing off. And yes the UI is clunky, but ARMA games have always been this way, right back to Operation Flashpoint. You should have seen this on your many watched youtube videos.

Yes I can't think of any licensing issues with Rocket using that at all. You know, what with Resident Evil's latest game just coming out around now also.

DMR for Primary M4A1 Holo M203 in the backpack M9 (its terrible) Coyote large Plus all the usual gadgets. No NVG's or range finders yet.

3-4 is enough. We've tried 8-9 and its just horrible. Esp on servers with no name tags, which we all prefer, its hard to identify people and we go in feeling a little immune. Conversely 3-4 people is a lot more efficient and fun. Tighter group and its easier to keep an eye on

Far as I can tell that survivor at the start had an M16/M4. I'd have shot him.

Life isn't valuable 10 minutes after spawning because you don't have anything. The Winchester was good, now its loud (thats fine, it needed it) so I can't say I'd be thrilled at getting one. 10 mins in Elektro means the Firestation, Shop, Bar, Office, Hospital and Power Plant can all be hit. After that you should have ALICE, Med Supplies, Food, Drink, 1911/Revolver a good chance of a Compass/Map/Bino's and likely a rifle. Hell even the chance of a DMR because the Firehouse is a military building. But why be cautious in those first 10 mins? Spending any more time than absolutely necessary in Elektro or Cherno is a death wish. I'd rather rush it and GTFO than spend my time sneaking around. Most the time you can evade the zombies okay and if there are other people, you try to sneak a little bit. Once you're up north though... I picked up a M4A1 Holo w/ M203 and some others in my group have a M4 SD, a DMR, a Mk48 LMG, a M240 LMG. - You can all bet we don't want to die. Life 'value' is based entirely off the gear you carry. Thats it. Reducing the spawn rate of rifles - yes I see your point, cherishing a Lee Enfield is a cool thought. But its more likely to get people banding together and farming the NW airfield barracks on either passworded or otherwise quiet servers, because thats what people on the internet do - They make it easy for themselves. Same reason why its so easy to Pirate movies.
