Flare guns themselves would be neat. I think in the future we will see flares which can be launched via 203 attachment and M4.

Hello, try downloading BE client from here http://www.battleye.com/download.html place the .dll into your BE folder steam>steamapps>common>Dayz>expansion>BE and replace it. Launch into a server and sit in the lobby while it updates itself. Let me know if this helps, Steak.

I am for all primitive weapon crafting, a crossbow does not complete the cycle for me however a legitmate bow would bring a smile to my face.

Been some other suggestions on this topic, I am for it. Crafting your own ghillie would be a nice touch especially if you could loot surrounding brush to blend into the different areas of the map.
