No your not doing anything wrong, Dayz has a very steep learning curve and you have to throw yourself to the wolves a few times before you get the hang of it. Try surveying an area for a bit before entering watch the town and feel out how you want to move through and loot it, the more fluid your loot path the quicker you can loose zeds if they fall in tow. If you want any help with the ropes and getting some gear together I would be happy to team up with you, just PM me. Also, welcome to the forums and search any and all guides for looting and whatever needs you may have. -

Rust which is fine until you see someone run then you will quit or die laughing. Just Cause 2 not bad with multiplayer mod. Far Cry 3...Ace game. Driver: San Francisco, I suggest playing when drunk. APB Reloaded retarded but fun. theres more but I'll just throw those in. -

I like your suggestions, although I am not a fan of any mounted HMG's being ingame especially if they fit to vehicles as you suggest. Based on my small experience with sub mods of dayz that had HMG's on vehicles it was a mess and way to overpowered in the hands of many.

I have worn them a few times because it looked good with no clothes on and just a mask. They dont bother me just like other things as dallas said if I dont want to wear one, I dont wear it.
