Will not work, its per steam account so one player on at one time using the same steam back and forth. You can combine funds and gift him the game through steam if you see fit down the road and you both can play.

Honestly you cannot do anything until they either start allowing 3rd party programs to run on the servers so you may obtain GUID's and forward them to BE and other server hosts to ban from their server or implement tools into the ACP's which allow you to obtain and ban GUID's.

Hmmm lets set you to experminental then verify your cache. Launch steam as admin: Right click DayZ in your Steam Library Click Properties Click the Betas tab In the drop down menu choose... experimental = preview testing version. Now right click on dayz go to properties. select local files. verify game cache. Let it update then launch into the game. Report back. -

Errrrrrrr, lets go the UAC route then. Open User Account Control Settings by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type uac, and then click Change User Account Control settin To turn off UAC, move the slider to the Never notify position, and then click OK. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. You will need to restart your computer for UAC to be turned off. Report back. -

Might be anti virus try this first. Browse to your ARMA 3 installation folder C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\ Run the following installers: ...\Steamapps\common\Arma 3\DirectX\DXSETUP.exeReboot your computer and test run steam as administrator, Report back. -

That rules out issues with the cloud, hmmm you can try renaming your client registry then launching as admin. Completely exit from the Steam client.Go to C:\Program Files\Steam (or the Steam directory that was specified during installation).Locate ClientRegistry.blob and rename this file to ClientRegistryOld.blob.Restart Steam to allow the file to be recreated.Report back, Steak. -

Double post what type of AV are you running? Try this: 1. Click on “Start”. 2. Click on “All Programs”. 3. Click on “ESET”. 4. Click on “ESET NOD32 Antivirus” or “ESET Smart Security”. 5. Click on the 2nd “ESET NOD32 Antivirus” or “ESET Smart Security”, this will open up the ESET Control Center. 6. Click on “Setup”. 7. Click on “Enter advanced setup…” 8. Expand “Computer”. 9. Expand “Antivirus and Antispyware”. 10. Click on “Exclusions”. 11. Click on “Add” and then navigate to the folder or file that you would like to exclude i.e. A3 and Dayz -
