I like the idea, you could make it even worse if your bag just fell apart whilst running after an extended time limit of high damage and you would need to use a sewing kit to piece it together.

Then you have my vote, in regards you should also be able to hang them on fences, buildings and some tress branches as distraction devices whilst you loot cities.

There should be only on skill, beard growth measured by survival time. Perk it provides, looking like a bad ass.

Run a verification of your game cache. Launch steam as administrator. Right click Dayz in your library. Go to properties. Select local files tab. Select verify game cache. Once completed launch the game and see if you have the function back, other than hardware issues I am unsure if corrupt files may cause this, so lets give this a shot. -

I'm unsure as you have done the proper steps for it to function. I have seen a thread recently where a guy was killed whilst holding the left mouse button, upon respawn it was no longer functiong, let me sift. Did you die prior in combat holding LMB to help verify this? -
