I feel like this is more of a suggestion thread but I'll post anyways. Been discussed to whits end numerous times on here, some modception concepts had it and I did not mind it one bit. I remember when 2017 first came out I "accidently" shot my mate only to later feed him, well himself. He raged and did not log back in for 4 days it was a great time.

Not really, we made caves in the mod, also Namalsk has object A2 which was an underground bunker. You would just have to rebuild the map with them in it :). Example: Credit to Dr. Bane. -
That sweet gold has been there a long time, back in the mods early days you used to hit that spot on your way out of town and see loads of tents. It was like a armory.

Felt like making a character movement suggestion. Many have suggested a left handed option and here is my thought which would be great played off it. I would really enjoy a strong side, weak side option with hot key implemented. When taking corners one could apply the hot key to switch between left handed and right handed thus exposing less of your character when pieing corners or active engagements. When armed weakside a sway would enable similar to one applied when exhausted and aiming down your sights but a lower percentage. In addition as character damage hit detection progresses down the road this would have a great adaption. When the hit detection takes the strong sided portion of the upper torso you could apply the hot key thus switching sides to receive the sway effect which in turn could be more accurate then shaking. Whilst I don't want a military style play when I am in Dayz, this is more of a realistic approach in alot of aspects to simple movement. Feel free to add, discard, adjust or slay this suggestion with all your loving. Steak

Perfect answer agent, I imagine with the already placed left handed selection suggestions that have come through this would just add onto it putting more depth into character movement. -

I see what you did there. Also on topic it would be an extremely swift addition, with minimal animations that could be tweaked further as the game progresses. For starters the feel would be quite nice. -

Playing without a mic (or when you can't use a mic)

If you have ts3 or skype etc you can always sit in a channel with your friends and communicate locations to meet up via text. Then just listen to whats going on as you go and play with the group. Applejackdaniels does it all the time with our group due to mic restrictions works out quite well. -

Yea that looks like alot of the Project Reality and Shack Tac movement mods. You can always grab some from armaholics and take a look at the way those are work.

I do not want to spoler alert but there is a mod for A3 in progress that currently has this for door breaching/interaction and its beautiful.

I would not say bohemia "allowed it" as there was nothing really in place during the peak time of these mods and all the files were open to modification on private servers and communities. As A3 released and SA was around the corner things have changed overtime as nothing was really written in stone with the mod which is why you have not seen an instant jump to A3 from A2 with a majority of the mods except BP which some may or may not agree with they're use of code. I can't remember completely, I'm sure kichi does but I believe this is the DML which has changed it after SA release. I won't dabble in all the full set run of politics with some of these mods as a few can stir up some emotions for the older crowd here especially if you mention Origins. http://www.bistudio.com/community/licenses/dayz-mod-license-share-alike
