Lets try to keep it back on topic gentlemen, the debate is over and has now lead to a derailing topic of different sorts. Just drop the approach and leave it be. As for OP and back on topic, my thoughts are quite simple, I am one who finds great pleasure in regearing my character. I used to get worked up/worried when I had alot of decent gear of a possible death mostly because I like to hold items for new players/spawns and share gear with them aswell as friends who may come into the server. However overtime I came to realize I was holding myself back from enjoying alot of other aspects to the game by remaining hidden only to maintain a few items which I could eventually come across again if I had spent as much time hiding as looting. I prefer my current outlook/approach which is death could be imminent to an extent but there is more to experience ingame. This keeps me cautious but not over the top where I am missing out on things because of a few items.

I do not mind the military loot, I for one tend to lean towards the primitive survival aspect so I have a heavy heart for crafting vs looting high end equipment. I'm sure there will be more mil loot to come but if they balance it with base survival gear which I think they have been doing quite well so far I will be a happy survivor.

Greetings, in the spirit of our old Mod bounties I shall round up the fellas to partake and see what we can accomplish. Andy do you request screenshots or video evidence of said bounty? I'm not promising anything but if we are able to find the server and general location I have a few good Aussie hunters on board. Also, just to be clear I will not being conducting the killing as I do not kill others but rather assisting in the track, suppression and record of events :).

I think the loot tables balance and damage system would implode, as for the suggestion itself, no I think the pairs are fine as is.

Blousing would not be bad imho, although in the current build(s) I do not really see a benefit other then pure cosmetic.

Greetings try this- Make sure you are showing hidden files & folders (Control Panel > Folder options) as the Appdata folder will be Hidden by default. First of all exit the DayZ client and Steam. STEP ONE: Delete Battleye Folder in Appdata Find the Battleye folder located in "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\DayZ". Delete this Battleye folder and all it's content entirely. (To locate directory navigate through explorer or Press the WINDOWS KEY + E to open explorer > In the adress field write %localappdata%)STEP TWO: Download BEClient.dll Go to Battleye[www.battleye.com] and download the 32-bit BEClient.dll for DayZ. (Save it somewhere easily located, it will be used soon.)STEP THREE: Replace old BEClient with the new one Move or copy/paste the downloaded BEClient.dll to a folder named Battleye in the DayZ install directory (replace the already existing BEClient.dll). The DayZ install directory is by default located at: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ" (this is NOT the same appdata DayZ/Battleye folder as the one we visited earlier) (To locate directory navigate through explorer or Right click DayZ in Steam > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files)STEP FOUR: Restart your computerSTEP FIVE: Update Battleye IMPORTANT: Start Steam as administrator (right click Steam and choose Run as Administrator) Start DayZ and join a server, BattlEye should update correctly.Steak.

Unsure its still available through armaholics at which point you would need to manually update versions through the main site. Then alot of copy pasta of Le .PBO's not sure if it still works I have not touched A2 in a few moons. Nor ever touched "Free."

If I remember correctly as I have not run any lites only purchased you can Run Arma 2 free with a purchased Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead and play multiplayer/mods. This is not absolutely free but it will cost less then combined operations and achieve the same end goal. From there you would download A2 Dayz mod from steam to run. Hmmm, well I would take one alternative method which is used in alot of A3 missions. When the player is hit and floored the camera will pull out to an overhead view which represents wounded in battle, from there the UI will ask to respawn or wait for medical whilst your character rolls around in agony and you watch for x amount of time. So my thought connected with yours would be if a character is hit with enough force to kill or knockout, they would get a response with camera angle which pulls out to overhead view as you go down. With no menu enabled you simply have to watch your character for signs of life and make the choice to respawn or not. Would be a bit more interesting then black screen and also a little play off your idea with whip cream so to speak.

1. Most PBO errors lay in corrupt files which can be fixed either by the solution you used or a veirfication of game cache then running as administrator. The error you were getting is tied specifically through the AppData thus the path to fix. 2. You should not have to remove the file everytime, just continue to run steam as administrator as that tends to be the best in all cases and if you get any other .PBO errors just the follow one of two steps, the one you conducted or a verification of game cache on steam. For your warning message disregard unless your actually unable to get into servers in which case just make another post in troubleshooting and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
