Process of elimination are you close enough to communicate in direct? After that, post your ingame settings for review and in addition list any other parameters etc you may be running. Also to note, is your mic/headset plugged in? If not do so prior to playing, last I remember you need a audio device in to read/hear direct communications. Steak.

Not to spite the current system in terms of realism but everytime I've been knocked out IRL it never lasted longer then 2 1/2 minutes. With that in mind I think a timer as a suggestion slightly pulls away from current concept. If there are set servers running different levels of gameplay in the future as we used to see in the mod as in veteran etc, etc. With that thought in mind, a server with lower difficulty level in comparison would not be bad to have count down timers and the like. As for across the board, nahh mate.

Surely in due time. I'm under the assumption modders are chomping at the bit for the flood gates to open on player created content. Until then, I'll just keep running around in L4D2 with my Nicholas Cage flashlight anxiously waiting for it to appear in DayZ.

To be honest, at the turn of SA I took the avenue of a pacifist. I always used to be a hero, however in the mod the medical system was a different beast all together and slightly easier in nature to carry out a hero lifestyle ingame. That said, I do still roam with medical supplies and assist those I come across, just not quite the caliber of ejecting out of helos loaded with medics and patching up large groups of people on the ground. -
That camp set up really has a nice feel to it :beans: .
