Steak and Potatoes replied to kichilron's topic in Servers
Like Ceppy said none yet, I think if the pop goes up merging to a whitelist shall be good but with the new tools coming next patch I forsee an ease in monitoring the server for fowl play. EU should be up very soon. -

Peter Nespesny: "So it's official, vodka is now configured."
Steak and Potatoes replied to Tatanko's topic in General Discussion
In some aspects it was an event, Celery was a long time contributor for A2 missions on armaholics, he made an ace death match mission titled Vodka Fest which took place in Vybor. It was a saturated atmosphere as if one was drunk and you ran around shooting your friends to the sound of jingling bottles and an old Russian man yelling Vodka!!! Not my video- -
Beards confirmed in Dayz SA
Steak and Potatoes replied to Color (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
Indeed we do. Also, clearly the best suggestion ever created the first beard thread ;) -
Peter Nespesny: "So it's official, vodka is now configured."
Steak and Potatoes replied to Tatanko's topic in General Discussion
The nostalgic me thinks I must return to Vybor for a rendition of Celery's Vodka Fest simply because of this. -
I enjoyed the original bandit skin better, even though I never earned one it looked great.

Best loot run for all new players
Steak and Potatoes replied to wolf-yiggy's topic in New Player Discussion
He has labeled it best root run for new players hence why it was moved to new player discussion. If he has gotten lucky on low pop servers or the like with this its up to you all to debate if the loot run could be better. The bottom line regardless of the death rate there is high tier loot there hence why they are so popular. If you would like to offer something better oblige him. In the mean time as for your Massive mod fail comment well unfortunately I'd rather not damper a thread that can be discussed in length by seasoned players with valid input just because you dislike it. -

Give this a shot: Make sure you are showing hidden files & folders (Control Panel > Folder options) as the Appdata folder will be Hidden by default. First of all exit the DayZ client and Steam. STEP ONE: Delete Battleye Folder in Appdata Find the Battleye folder located in "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\DayZ". Delete this Battleye folder and all it's content entirely. (To locate directory navigate through explorer or Press the WINDOWS KEY + E to open explorer > In the adress field write %localappdata%) STEP TWO: Download BEClient.dll Go to Battleye[www.battleye.com] and download the 32-bit BEClient.dll for DayZ. (Save it somewhere easily located, it will be used soon.) STEP THREE: Replace old BEClient with the new one Move or copy/paste the downloaded BEClient.dll to a folder named Battleye in the DayZ install directory (replace the already existing BEClient.dll). The DayZ install directory is by default located at: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ" (this is NOT the same appdata DayZ/Battleye folder as the one we visited earlier) (To locate directory navigate through explorer or Right click DayZ in Steam > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files)STEP FOUR: Restart your computerSTEP FIVE: Update Battleye IMPORTANT: Start Steam as administrator (right click Steam and choose Run as Administrator) Start DayZ and join a server, BattlEye should update correctly.

I'm not sure if I am reading this correctly, you can edit your settings following this guide prior to going in game. If I misunderstood what your problem was let me know.

The most depressing Dev comment - Time for me to give DayZ a rest?
Steak and Potatoes replied to rickyriot's topic in General Discussion
I understand where your coming from and also have had my moments with the mod, SA and other titles in which I have dumped hours into. I always find regardless that when I take a break, games like DayZ continue to evolve and improve during the time I am having a "breather." I get great satisfaction in this knowing that when I return things will have changed and I will find new aspects to basically fall head over heals for once again. I'm not saying that optimization is not a priority for you, myself or others however playing Arma series games for a while I've learned to love and look past alot of issues that raise the hairs on ones neck. I just enjoy the games far to much to stop completely. I remember having an absolute shit fit over the "Galkin to ifrit" edit for Arma 3 I lost roughly 30 missions I was editing and seriously thought I would never return after such an upset of having to redo all the missions for them to work. I gave it a few months and within that time a whole host of improvements and add ons were created for me to start fresh to work with, it was like a replaying the game for the first time all over. I went back to making new missions and have not looked back for a few thousand hours. TL;DR There is always room for breaks, I encourage them in alot of ways with most games, especially if they are a WIP. The best part is coming back to new things and falling in love with a game all over again. Steak. -

Is it too late for night time servers?
Steak and Potatoes replied to Caboose187 (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
I hope not, I personally love night time, especially in the mod. All we can do is seed the servers that do and try to get a small group of night time goers banded together.
