And back on topic, severing limbs is not the worst idea although it has been suggested before. If the infection/disease systems gets location boosts in the future I could see this as an interesting implementation. -

Thats odd, the server listed by Tommy is a private shard (central) unsure why it would load public in the filters, are you sure its not just saying Public in the server name vs the filter on the right?

Moved to Mod troubleshooting. On topic do you see any mods enabled at the main menu of A2 when you are there? -
Moved to new player discussion, if its raining I usually just sprint to the nearest building shut myself inside and sprint circles until warm and rotate clothes with the ones I locate inside. I then move from building to building doing this until I have the correct gear, seems to keep me warm during the monsoon.

Enough slinging feces at one another, keep it civil and on topic in here or I'll start handing out warnings. -
Try launching the game, press cntrl/alt/delete and go to your task manager. Right click dayz and set to high priority, also make sure you are running steam as administrator by right clicking and selecting run as administrator. EDIT, Ninja'd :ph34r: also do as kichi says if the above does not help.
