Moronic I wouldnt got that far. I can see your points food being not needed for extended periods as for hydration full kit and dehydration levels would be dependent on terrain and weather conditions. Your not going to hump Kunar Province without the right amount of water because your burning more than you are earning. Sure you can push yourself to heat stroke but then you are useless in theater and become a burden on your team. m203 agreed. I dont think the helicopters should be removed (functioning not crashed). I do believe if they were more simulator oriented to operate I would imgaine alot less flight as it would be harder to get it into the air and land again. I dont think the huey is by any means OP as I honestly have yet to see someone get a legitimate air to surface kill in game and there is Mil areas so Mil chopper is good in my book. The civis added into city areas of interest would be nice like ontop the hotel or somewhere relevant to where it might be IRL. Crash Sites could be better IMO if they weren't limited to the specific areas for instance if they spawned in addition to the usual in a city where one might have a good chance of going down or even in the woods to make them harder to locate.
