I watched hetstaine get chased down by a blood drunk survivor with an axe on the electro railway. Old boy was chasing two heros and ended up pasted across the ground after I chopped him 50 times

I miss the old dayz *que grandpa speech* I have found that map jumping gave me a slight feel of the old way but not fully because when I checked out servers that hosted other maps I was overflooded with vehicles and gear. I searched and found a few vanilla maps of the different variants and got some breaths of fresh content which was great but none of them offer the feeling I got when I first logged into chernarus and made my way around lost and confused. My favorite map of choice is obviously the one that started it all and it seems none other can offer the same immersion I get from playing that map.

I remember I answered a call to patch up a player who had broken his leg on top the power plant fire house (electro). I jumped from a helicopter, approached and repaired his wounds. Once he was patched the helicopter came within distance of the roof to pick us both up. As he was getting in a shot rang off skipping the ground next to me I button smahed trying to go prone and helplessly watched my character start to display the famous stutter step prone movement. My character pro launched off the roof and fell to the depths below insta killing me as I screamed "shite." 15 day old gear given away instantly but to a good cause ;) -

Chek for ongoing deals I think the cheapest buy in I've seen was a 24 dollar sale which went back to 30 a month. -

Yes L85A2 comes with a peq-2, however you will need to find nvg's otherwise its useless

Do you have a copy of both dayz on steam and arma 2 OA on steam? What are your settings in commander? This can be found in settings bar top right corner please list or screen shot all.

Costs you a copy of arma combined operations which is not very pricey on steam 24.99 http://store.steampo...d.com/sub/4638/ Once you have that download dayz commander http://www.dayzcommander.com/ the mod itself is free this will control all your updates and so forth for dayz. EDIT: There is no cost to play i.e. monthly fees like some mmo's if that is what you are refering to. -
In terms of AR variants I always stick with the M4A3 CCO.... pro tip- has a flashlight on it for night time ;)
