    I agree completely, life was alot more simple in those times. The need and push for hack protection aswell as players own perception on how the mod is "supposed to be" has created its own monster all together. The main issue I think rafters is that the anti hack protection is just not where it should be at this point in time for public hive. If it had most of what is on alot of private servers these dayz I would never have left public.

    Alrighty, are you using a steam copy of ARMA2 and ARMA2 OA?

    I would highly recommend downloading Dayz Commander for all your needs. http://www.dayzcommander.com/ It has an install/update section that covers just about every base you need to make sure things match up correctly. After that if you are still having issues we can address them as they come. Are you getting any messages upon the kicks?

    Are your dayz versions matching the servers your are attempting to join? Also is your beta patch up to date?

    When you udated BE, did you do it manually by DL'ing the server and client DLL files then placeing them in the BE folder?

    I dont mind skins to add variety but I would prefer if you add skins to just make them lootable. As for any other spawn perks no thank you.

    What difficulty setting are you playing on? Make sure to be wary of your indicators on the top right corner for ear/line of sight.
