Correct, Combined Operations is what you need, steam version can be found here http://store.steampowered.com/sub/4638/ nothing particularly special about DL'ing it from steam other than you can catch sales and verify your game cache easy if you come across small errors, mostly a matter of preference. -

He means once you have completed the above steps. Launch Arma2 and Arma OA seperate until you reach the main menu then you may log out. -

Check and clear you launch parameters if using Dayz Commander under settings. Also clear in steam under the properties launch options make sure what appy listed above is not in the bar. -

Save them to your desktop then copy and replace in the folder listed above.

If you are back to square one of OP have you updated your BE filters manually yet to see if this fixes? Download the Server and Client dll's here: http://www.battleye.com/download.html Place them into Program Files (x86)>Steam>steamapps>common>arma 2 OA> BEsetup launch the game and sit in a lobby watch the bottom left corner in red and wait for it to update then join.
