Thats because of your character creation skills in the main menu. Try light or dark characters. -

Walk up to the door and scroll your mouse, it will show you the option and press space bar to open the door. -

I have two wolf and one fawks mask in my inventory I dont want to give them up. They are rare but not excessively rare. -
What do you need for a blood transfusion?

You need to test your blood, draw the same blood type from another player and use the IV starter kit and apply it to your blood bag to create a functional set up. When you loot a medical kit these items should be inside the 6 slot inventory for use. Regards, Steak. -
The engine is not meant to turn gameplay into BF4 it has and will always appear clunky to major FPS players. I hear and agree with you but for Arma based play its quite clean compared to most of BI's work.

Agreed, its quite overpriced no servers allow over 40 players and my dedi boxes are yelling at me wanting files.

You could start one and have it pinned if the content is quality. I would encourage anyone who is good with photoshop to create a package of items like you listed.

Precisely, I usually keep rags out in terms of bandages as you can stack them onto eachother in sets of 6 rags total that only take one inventory slot.

Agreed, to stay safe I actually do not place any items on floors indoors anywhere I carry out everything outside in the street.

Medkits are for storage to retain the items inside them you must remove from your inventory and place them on the ground. Once on the ground if you scroll over it you will see all 6 slots with said items you have placed inside for use. Move those items to your inventory and place the medkit back where it fits. Questions on purchasing Arma for DayZ

Yes, you will still be able to play with them on a retail version of the game. Make sure you purchase Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA otherwise known and sold as combined operations. Once downloaded use dayz commander to install all your updates and you can filter servers to find which one they are playing on to join them. Regards, Steak. -

Luckily for you there is more than one thread on said issue. The recent build WIP allows you to open cans with other items which degrades them i.e. screwdrivers and knifes. So far screwdrivers are working but knifes are not. All else fails a can opener will save you. Regards, Steak. -
I tend to melee in 3rd perspective and place the crosshair to the side of the zed rather than directly on it as the swing is slightly off. There is also a very nice movement I picked up from Target Practice where he conducts figure 8's around zeds whilst swinging and almost never gets hit. Regards, Steak.
