M1Garand. Please. It would mean so much to me to have the garand in DayZ. It's like the staple battlefield veteran weapon. I would do anything to use that gun in standalone. Please add it.

Where is this?

I hear everyone talking about this crazy place. How can i play on this map? i have tried to filter for it in DayZ Commander and looked in the normal server list but i can't find it. Can anyone give me any pointers as to how to play on this map?

Its not hacked. Just found one at a crashed helicopter. And again at barracks.

Its a losing battle dude. Most of me and my mates are over the abuse and just all kill on sight now. We used to have the rule to now kill people that only have an axe. But they always find you and kill you somehow. From time to time we have friendly encounters with people but most of the time it ends up like your post.

Unless you plan on killing all the zombies out of town first. The M4A3 OCC.

Hey guys, today i was supporting my team in cherno so i decided to climb up to that highest building with the silos on either side. As i was watching my team a guy spawned in behind me and with third person I could see the end of a sniper barrel facing the back of my head. It was apparently a L115A3 LLR. I instantly said "Oh hey dude im just looking after my team down there. What are you up too?" and he relaxed and talked to me for a bit. He asked me not to kill his friend logging in so i dident. His friend had an AS50 with a thermal sight on it. I knew they were both hackers because they are both hacked in guns. I was constantly trying to get an angle on both of them to kill them but one always moved behind me. After a while the guy with the L115A3 gave me his gun and said "take this its better then your Enfield". I did not want to pick it up because i did not want to be banned but then they started to pressure me. "well come on man pick it up" So i picked up the weapon and continued to try and get a vantage point on them both. A few mins later they both logged and i was left with this gun. Alot of people have been talking about this gun recently SO: Has a new sniper been added to the loot sheet or was it hacked in?

Hey guys I'm trying to track down all these uncatagorised changes. So far I have by word of mouth: - Old bandit skin as a findable item - Dogs to some degree in forests Can anyone else confirm any other changes?

Hey, me and my group are going to play new update later on today. We all privioisly had graphical glitches (the triangle ones from models) so I will make a new post with what I find from all their computers.

I saw i guy land a helicopter north of kamenka, went to investigate. Found the guy standing outside the helicopter and i shot him in the back with my DMR. Success i hit him with blood and i shoot again for good measure. He shrugged it off and proned, i hit him successfully again and he is still fine. I go around the right and flank him, success i got a few hits off and he is still alive. He then prone walked backwards to cover. I watched both sides of the bush he went into that was some distance away so i would be ready for him. He suddenly run around the bush next to me talking to me like crap over voice coms "Oh your going to try and shoot me now are you b*t*c*h" and other stuff like that. As he was running to me i got multiple chest shots off all hitting him. He then said "Now its my turn" and just walked up to me ignoring being shot at and shot me in the face a few times. I died instantly (goodbye ghillie suit + DMR + Rangefinder + NVG + Meds + Coyote 2 backpack + revolver) He then according to my team mates got back in his chopper and went around finding people that were spawning and killing them with the chopper. Zombie elephants from a elephant shipment from India before the Zombie breakout.

He can hear himself shooting. He can hear zombies. He can hear vehicles. But he can not hear me or other people shooting. We have re downloaded DayZ and have re downloaded the new Beta. + validated steam files for both arma and arma:ao Anyone have any ideas?

Hey guys, can someone help me with this please. I have read other topics here and have tried everything. I played just yesterday fine but i get stuck at loading on every server suddenly. I have tried: Downloading the beta again. Downloading all dayz files again. Validating steam files for both normal Arma and Arma:AO. Restarting computer. Joining servers in different regions. I can get into the armory, its just DayZ i cant get into. I get into the server just find, i sit in the lobby seeing the player list. But when i press "Join" to join the game, it loads for a while. Then it says waiting for character to create. Then it goes to loading and stays there. I left my computer for 2 hours when i went out for lunch today to give it time to connect. Come back and it still says loading. I went control + alt + delete and the process is still running and does Not say "Not Responding" like a crashed program does. Does anyone have any ideas? P.S i know there are other topics about this im only posting after having no success trying anything.
