Just play DM in cherno and elektro until the update comes out, no point trying to make serious progress until then. It will teach the basics as well as being fun. -

OK, now getting pissed off - been waiting over a week to play again due to silly glass bone syndrome, now I hear via fucking Twatter that the update is being held back for some marketing opportunity? WTF. Rocket if you want to dick about with the update, that's your call, but please for humanity's sake give us a hotfix for the broken bones so DayZ is at least playable in the interim :@ Any replies containing the word 'alpha', 'tears' or claiming 1.7.1.5 is playable need not be posted and should instead be printed out, rolled up and shoved up the author's backside. And yes, I know it's Rocket's mod so he can do what he wants, I have said as much if you bothered to read :rolleyes:

Zombies dude. Zombies. Someone else will have to take over. Shit, really? I always thought those dudes were smart enough to survive forever. Hope they went down like heroes, saving a small child from a horde of zeds, or similar :-/

Lag, range and hit zone (head, torso, limbs) are all factors in how much damage rounds do afaik.

lol just logged in only to find the two precious morphines in my ALICE pack have magically transformed into oh-so-useful heatpacks....of course I only discovered this AFTER a passing Zed dutifully broke my leg by punching me in the face. Will try pressing a hot towel to my fractured femur, you never know....!

1. Because they really do need batteries, so really are finite. same with NVGs by the way. 2. Because they are ultra rare for the individual player, but not for the clan loot farmers and hoarders, giving them access to an unrealistic level of map dominance. So you're suggesting we nerf... teamwork? Nope, that we nerf magical infinite power for nvgs and thermal scopes. -
