I've watched a few streams/Videos of Dayz players and most of them pick up the Walkie Talkie and then think its useless and then drop it again. Here is a guide for players who don't know about the Walkie Talkie can do: There is also a few traps you can set up for Bandits if your crafty and have two Walkie Talkie.

The point it to discuss if its a good weapon and a good addition to the game. Have a healthy discussion on if its a buggy piece of shit or a well polished weapon. Etc. Also why would anyone care about us talking about Dayz weapons on the Dayz Forum, Its kinda expected. If I wanted to talk about real weapons I'd go on /k/

Have you all experienced the awesomeness that is L85A2 AWS Yet?

I've been using the FN FAL a lot and even though its ammo is rare and its pretty loud I really find it a great all round weapon, mainly because of its high damage per shot and great accuracy. Do you all agree or what weapon do you think is better as a good all rounder?

I'm interested to see how your using the AK and G17 because I find it really hard to hit anything at long range with those weapons iron sights. Even though G17 is my favorite side arm.

I find the M14 way to bulky to use in close combat. But I will agree that its Ammo is way easier than FN FAL. I also like how many people confuse a person with a M14 for a DMR sniper and freak out.

I hope in the stand alone dayz you can take the scope off and put it on something better.

You have to aim for where the engine would be. Which is just below the main rotors.

Its fine the way it is. You've been killed, you have already lost your gear. I would however support it if it was changed from "hide body" to "dig grave" or something and I would also support a long hide body animation like 60 seconds or something so screwing someone over would be a bit harder
