This is the MOST antisocial game ever

I think you have it just right' date=' we don't need game mechanics to group up, or at least it would take the fun out of the game. No, I am confused as well. If somebody starts about a team mechanic and then suddenly says he actually meant a system to hook up with friends (also please note, not thinking one second on HOW to achieve the latter). That is confusing, and sounds like bending your point until you seem right., It was a reply to another person. You guys have had too much brain damage if you did not understand what I said and to whom. Thats all I can say. Empty barrels make most of the noise. Thats how it is. Pretty much this also: If you generalize the numbers - you do not speak about yourselve only - do you? You basically make it somewhere around the average. But obiviously you are more stupid than my morning slippers to understand this.

in your original post you are stating you want teams, but now you are stating that is not what you mean, and that you just want ways to find better ways to group up? I'm confused on what you are trying to get at now. You are confused, since you think everyone makes suggestions for their own benefit only.

This is not a TDM game. You know what would happen then? Bandit gets killed' date=' joins as a survivor. Groups up with one or two survivors with better gear. Gains their trust, shoots them in the back. Repeat. Seriously, the game does NOT need some team system (at least like this) to prohibit PvP, as PvP should not be prohibited. A survivor could kill as he HAS to (no supplies, in self defense), and then he turns into a bandit and switches teams? [/quote'] Its not a TDM game, and i completely aggree with it. The first mistake you make is that you assume that forming a group would remove friendly fire by my suggestion. No in my idea u would still be able to kill people and stab them in their backs. The idea would only give slightly better tools to group up and find people to play together with. Everything else would stay the same. And as far as i know its not very easy to redeem onself from bandit state. But you are throwing hypotheses that are only hypotheses. Only by testing you would actually know how it affects.

Oh lord. See' date=' this game isn't suppose to be a team vs. team game. The main appeal of this game is that you're alone, and no one is going to help you. If you're lucky you'll find one friendly guy to help, but otherwise you're going to have to be careful who you trust. If you want a team vs. team apocalypse game, play that Wasteland mod for Arma or something. [/quote'] And the fact that you are placed in a team for having seperate communication channel for survivors and murderers makes this a team game? seriously - you can even now kill ppl in same team. It would hardly chance anything. It would just give a chance for those that are looking for friendly players have a slighlky higher chance to find them without them shooting back :)

please be specific why you think it would destroy the game? as a bandit you couldnt kill everyone on sight still?? as a survivor you couldnt kill survivors? please use argumentation. The fact that you ASSUME it would destroy the game definately does not mean it would destroy the game xD Arguments are welcome.

    bandit reports

When bandit is seen, there could be a really small "!" marker on map at spot position. The marker disappearns in 5 minutes. This creates an environment where the survivors are not "alone", and close by survivors can easier band together to go for bandit hunting.

So chat is communication through telepathy? I dont have a chat when phonelines are down and its armageddon. Sorry... bad excuse.

    bandit reports

The marker appears per bandit max once per 5 minutes as well. It would be a static marker. What this does is that it would actually require a sniping bandit to be on move more. So you cant just eternally set up a camp in one bush and keep shooting. I do not think its too unfair tbh. Just puts the players on the move
  10. I like playing games together with my friends. There is no question wether its realistic mode or not. Games are fun when they are played together. I think everyone aggrees on this. And if game chooses a way which punishes players, who want to play together by creating the most stupid systems, then its obiviously broken. Now look... there is not even currently a system to prevent spawning near friends. All it just does is gives you an annoying system to reach your goal... Look at the current spawn system... 1. it does not prevent spawning close near your friends 2. its a futile stress for character server if ppl have to keep spamming respawn button to spawn near friends Game: the game itself is designed to be played with friends - is it not? So the question is - why would you give unneccesary obstacles spawning near friends? Obstacles that are not even part of gameplay? (keep spamming respawn) So I think that players in same squad.xml should be able to spawn around same city in a way or another. I earler suggested that it could a a spawn point that you need to take over to let your friends spawn same COASTAL city. And if you speak about realism - tell me in which house does it spawn weapons and items from thin air? Tell me which virus makes people vegetables and makes them run with speed of a horse? Tell me in which realism you could not know your location, but you could magically chat with every surviver in the world with a chatclient. It is stupid to speak about realism in an environment like this. It is just another game, which is implemented in war simulator environment. Making it possible to respawn same location can be "realistic" if thats, if that is what you want to know. I mean - if me and my friend both survive armageddon, we dont spawn billion miles away from each other - no we live close by. And we definately will have bigger chance "spawning" close to eachother than having a chatclient to tell our position to spawn "respawn" over and over again to spawn in same location. Realism comments debunked. You want more?

Yo, As a old flashpoint veteran I really like the game. I am servive conceptor, and I want to give my contribution here. Player loot and deaths: Its good as it is, but there really should be some kind of softening to this in form of misc items. You should not losse all of it when u die. In player death u should lose following: -back bag -weapons -night vision and binoculars But you should have 40% chance to be able to keep each of following: -map -compass -clock -matches -knife You should not be able to loot theitems from players which they can keep. Squads (guild) should be able to have its own spawn location. -on shore there should be conquarable camps, which will give spawn location to everyone in same squad.xml. There should be limited amount of the spawn bases per server. Camps have a flag with squad logo. Player can take spawn camp by holdiing it for 2 minutes. When contested, there is a message, that squad x is contesting sqyad Ys start camp.

I did not speak about foods, I did not speak about weapons etc... (this means that if you had only one of mentioned items in your inventory, you will spawn empty pockets with 60% chance)...
