Although it's a nice crutch on some servers when you're just starting out and it can help you navigate without the appropriate gear, I'm not in favor of being spotted on someone's map just because they looked in my direction without actually having ever seen me.

I usually go for the largest caliber I can find, any weapon that can inflict massive trauma to dispatch my opponent as quickly as possible, especially when you factor in any lag/desync on either side. You can't always make perfect headshots point blank.

I use my survivor friend in Cherno to lure people to their demise, we get a good laugh out of it, and they learn a valuable lesson sooner rather than later. Everybody wins! -
I'm all and occasionally a friendly/helpful bandit where I'll recruit a survivor partner for a little while. After playing with them for a couple sessions I'm able to gauge whether the player is an asset or a liability. Although, I've never back stabbed a useless player I grouped with, I usually just cease communication and remove them from steam/skype/etc.

I have reason to believe this is server related, or has something to do with admins not updating properly. Some servers run just like they should and always have while others run at 10fps or so regardless of settings or specs.
