i use Dayz commander and i have arma installed through steam. when epoch isnt installed i can run regular dayz fine but when i install epoch i can run epoch fine but i cannot play regular dayz i just get a box in arma with errors then it goes back to arma title screen. when i uninstall epoch regular dayz works fine. any ideas how to solve this so i dont have to keep downloading epoch again when i want to play on it.

I'll check our that house then go back to berezino as just south of solnichney at the moment and found next to nothing on the way down from the airfield. Can't understand how I'm struggling to find food now as I never had a problem before

Since the last update I've found food to be quite scarce can anyone recommend reliable places to go for food. Most houses I'm checking now are just empty before the update I always had enough so get by but now I'm struggling to avoid starvation at times now. I'm on the east coast if anyone can recommend a good building with a high spawn rate

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned as there's loads of posts already but the problem I have with this feature is this: Last night me and my friend were moving to a high populated server from one that was getting Lowish on players when we login my character has glitches and I'm back to a new spawn while my friend still has all his gear. So I log out and try another server to see if it fixes it and I'm told I have to wait 5mins to get in. So I tell my friend we'll just go into the server and see if it's fixed but now we both have to wait 5mins so we wait the time and my gear is still lost and my friend has been getting hit by a zombie while waiting to get in and now has a broken leg. This system is just terrible and makes me not want to play this game until they come to there senses and put in a better system. What my understanding was they were going to do a progressive timer so if you login to a couple of servers quickly next time is a 30sec wait then it goes up to 1min and so on if you keep changing which I think would work fine. Sorry, Rant over

I restarted my computer and first server I joined worked fine. think I had updates pending and that was this issue. I fully blame Windows 8 as it is the source of all the worlds problems. thanks for the help and suggestions

when I initially join in the multiplayer setup screen the ping matches the Dayz commander one but when the game loads my character im kicked and the ping it tells me is either 1500ish or 2500ish varying by server

everytime I try and join a server on any map I just get kicked for the ping being too high or I cant play as the ping is too high, can anyone give me a solution for this issue? im using Dayz commander and am selecting servers with low ping settings of <30 when I joins to the multiplayer setup screen and shows my ping its still <30 but once the game loads I just get kicked for a high ping or the ping is too high to play. my speedtest result is ping 18, down 35 up 9mb. when I played this before Christmas I had no issues and don't have any playing any other games online.

I know this is a stupid question but I couldn't find an answer when I searched the forums for it. If I download through steam is it easy enough to play with dayz commander as I previously had a boxed copy before I became stupid and bought the war z. I just want to check the mod works fine with steam before I purchase it as I don't have much experience with mods or pc games
