Hmm, I remember I made a list on this forums of stuff that I felt was too realistic. While I do like these, and I am excited, I do hope that you guys don't add certain things on the list, like incurable life-ending diseases (Cancer, etc.). Also, if you could, add ways of sanitation perhaps. Also, make those antibiotics a LOT less rare, otherwise people will be dying left and right. -

Well, the thermal sight is more powerful than nightvision because it can detect heat. Basically, its like an X-ray through grass. Like i said, i want to make it really rare. Also, these aren't rangefinders, they are just normal binoculars.

1. Im ok with it as long as it doesn't' take too long 6. Hmmm, it will add more realism, but i don't want it to become too annoying or too common 7. If sneezing is like it is put on the list where u can't move and stuff, I really hope you guys reconsider adding that if you sneeze a lot. 9. That seems fine 12. I agree with implementing 12 as long as you don't make ammo boxes like 1 per map 13. As long as you have like 2 days before it expires, I'm ok with that. Also, i think that if somebody logs out and they still have food on them, it shouldn't be all expired if they log back on 1 week later. Thanks for the comment. You got my beans -

It's not that i want to remove the game's soul, it's just that i don't want the game to become so realistic, that it becomes boring or controversial (i'm specifically talking about the sleeping part and the being able to completely undress part) -

Thats interesting, but do you have to go poop like every day? Do you have to go poop every 20 minutes after you eat, and you have to go pee every 10 minutes after you drink? I hope not. I also hope they don't implement various types of pooping, such as constipation and diarrhea... because constipation takes too long and diarrhea is gross! :P -

Nice. I like the basic idea. Im not a big fan of how items on the ground are shown, as its too cluttered. However, if you have to like move the items around in an interactive way to uncover other items, then I do like that idea. I also don't think having so many spots is necessary. Overall, Great Post -
The Body Icon Is Used To Detect Injuries. It Shows Bullet Wounds, Infections, And Broken Legs. It doesn't show zombie wounds or bleeding, because the current blood icon will detect those. I believe that this could take place of the broken leg icon that comes up, and that this should get rid of coughing during the first hour of an infection. This icon will let players know if they have an infection before they hear coughing. I included some basic concept art I made. Remember, that these early images are probably subject to change to make the injuries more clarified. CLICK THE PICTURES TO VIEW THEM. Please post your opinions below, and please look at the pictures before posting a comment. Thank you to everybody who has posted and given me there beans. If somebody has already made something like this before, I did not intentionally take it. However, if it is the original post, please credit me if you would like to use it in yours.

Thats a good idea. It can also go were the debug monitor used to be. Maybe, the bullet wounds and other smaller stuff will admit a slightly flashing glow to make them stand out -

I think it would be cool if you were in the middle of chernarus, and you look up in the air and you see a helicopter crashing, maybe because the pilot got infected or something. You may see the helicopter go down and crash a mile away from your current location, and you have to walk a mile to find it. Of course, there will be some npc military zombies, but i think at crashed helicopters, most of the crew should of died at impact. -
I'm not a big fan of having currency, especially when 1 bullet to the head would make it a lot easier. I like the realism factor of DayZ, and in a zombie apocalypse, you don't randomly go to a safe zone to get supplies that you can trade with people. Maybe they will have a server that has it, but i'm not a big fan of it.

This is a good idea. I personally think that it should matter were you hit people, ex: hit the waste-damage the tool belt, hit the back-damage stuff in the backpack. I think that implementing this will start a lot more robberies in DayZ, which i support as it makes the game more interesting. Instead of shooting people on sight for there loot, they would come behind them and threaten to shoot them in the leg or something if they didn't give them there stuff. -

*UPDATE* I've gotten a lot of comments saying that my post was a big blob of text and that many people have submitted these ideas. I am completely new here, so sorry for my amateur mistakes. I tried to sort stuff out by paragraph, and to be honest, I don't want to read through an entire forum before posting my ideas, and if a lot of people suggest a certain idea, they will more than likely implement it, so even if somebody already posted my ideas, it wouldn't be a horrible idea to repost them if you support them. I also added one more thing about spawning I think it would be cool if the environment was more active in DayZ. For example, you could break open the doors of houses, and maybe board the door back up so that its harder to get into and you can stay in. You could also board up the windows so people can't look in. To make these actions possible, they may need to add more items such as hammers, nails, and wood planks. You could manually remove those items from a toolbox, or find random individually ones.Steps on boarding up a house could be these: 1. Find a hatchet or saw (if they add one) 2. Chop some wood from a tree or find some located on the map 3. Using an axe or saw, cut / split the wood into individual wooden planks. 4. Find a house and enter It. 5. Board up the door, and the windows, using a hammer and some nails. 6. Congratulations, you have a boarded up safe house thats pretty zombie resistant. In DayZ standalone, i think that the developers should work on editing the actual map of Chernarus to make every building enterable. They should also add other island far away that people can travel too. They should also try to expand the north part of chernarus.Also, maybe you can make stuff. Maybe you can make crates or something cool to store stuff in besides tents. Don't turn it into minecraft, but maybe you can make small stuff, that you could make in real life, such as wood planks from a wood pile to board up a house, or a crate to store stuff in.I think it would be cool if they added lamps you carry, which would be brighter versions of chemlights that you can turn on/off. Maybe, they can make fire a more realistic aspect of the game, and have wild fires implemented in the game if people are too reckless with fire. One thing thats sort of bugged me a little bit was the drinking in the game. When you drink water bottles, you drink the entire thing, which wouldn't really happen in real life. You would maybe drink half of it, which is why I think they should make it so you can drink out of a water bottle 2-3 times before it's empty. I don't believe in making the game too realistic (example: having to go to the bathroom). However, i want it to be as realistic as possible while still being very enjoyable. Also, i think you should be able to punch/kick people and zombies, and maybe add handcuffs for people when they are captured.I ask that you don't add new zombies, such as the ones in Namalsk. I wasn't a huge fan of that update. I also wasn't a big fan of the railgun in that map; Its not exactly realistic. Last but not least, I want to talk about spawning. I'm not sure how, but there should be some way of easily being able to respawn if you spawn somewhere that isn't good. Either that, or you make every location better. Yesterday, I spawned in Kamenka, and since i didn't want to be there, I killed myself. I spawned back there 3 more times in a row, so the spawning does need a little work. I just don't feel like walking for over 10 minutes to get to something exciting. Thanks for reading this, and sorry if it was sort of scattered and disorganized. Heres the thing though... even though 3rd person is a bit of a nuisance sometimes, there are things you can't exactly do in dayz that you can do in real life. For example, you can poke your head over a wall by jumping up to it to quickly peek over. You can also more sneakly peek around corners and stuff. Also, if you have broken glass in dayz, you cant' exactly quickly just break the glass so you can see better. A big thing though is that in real life, you have a much wider field of view. In 1st person in dayz, you don't have that, and you get some of it by zooming out, but better by going into 3rd person. Personally, I think that 1st person servers would be a lot more populated if they made some changes in it that made it better. They should keep 3rd person, but try to influence 1st person and make it better and add some 1st person benefits. -
