Character's Traits Improve As They Get Older

Obviously, there would be some balancing. Nothing too overpowered.

Character's Traits Improve As They Get Older

In real life, when you run a lot and work out your legs, you gain stamina and begin to run slightly faster. As for the 4 month old survivor, he had a lack of food and water. I'm assuming that the player doesn't make his character starve.

Character's Traits Improve As They Get Older

Well, maybe you just don't shake as much (when tired, etc.) The actual aiming is player controlled

    DayZ Animals

I'm not a big fan of the spawn as an animal idea. Maybe it could be an easter egg or a custom dayz mod can come out that implements this, but it would change gameplay in a bad way. Thats at least what I think it would do.

Why People Shoot On Sight And How To Fix That

There's something like this in DayZ Breaking point.

Here me out on this one, FOOD Chain in DayZ

This could be interesting though there isn't much to do really. Plus, DayZ is about survival (or it uses to be), not grazing.

Base Building - Do's and Don'ts (DayZ Standalone)

That's would help make zombies more dangerous. It may even help the KoS issue a little bit

Why People Shoot On Sight And How To Fix That

Yeah that's probably the biggest issue the developers need to tackle. DayZ is about survival, not PvP. You have my beans and thanks for the nice post.

    Gruesome Dead Bodies and Crows

Hi guys. I was thinking of an idea on how Crows could play a role in the game. Crows are scavengers, and like in Private Military Company, they could be circling around dead bodies and you could notice it. Also when you find a dead body, you could find a couple of crows eating it. When they notice you, they will fly away (and maybe somebody else could notice). Since the crows and flies have been eating it for some time, maybe you could find it rotten. It may be grotesque, but it's realistic. Tell me what you think.

Base Building - Do's and Don'ts (DayZ Standalone)

It's just something you should still be able to do. You don't have to do it, but it could be something you could still do if you wanted.

BTW, sorry if the post is long; i have a lot of ideas that I hope have a positive affect on the future of DayZ. if you did read all of it, then thank you :)
  12. At least now they'll be old fashion bandits where they kill for a reason besides getting more kills. Also, with harder zombies, they may use robbing somebody as an alternative.

Why People Shoot On Sight And How To Fix That

I do understand. I said that over time, if you feel safe, you'll have to take a break from jogging (because nobody can jog forever). However, no madder how tired you are, if you feel like you are in danger, then should be able to keep running.

Why People Shoot On Sight And How To Fix That

Killing on sight isn't an affective way of survival unless you are planning on looting them. Whats the point of killing a fresh spawn? All it accomplishes is wasting bullets. I agree with everything else you said. You have my beans.

Why People Shoot On Sight And How To Fix That

With my plan, firing shots would be a lot more risky; You'd probably died if you ambushed somebody in cherno and you didn't have a planned escape route.

I`m banned from my own server

I love how the ban appeal just turns into a chat of mind bending gifs and pictures.

Strange shadow figure at Green Mountain?

Maybe an optical illusion, i'm not sure... green mountain is a weird place. It's also where i'm hiding my Ural (Don't Tell)

Why People Shoot On Sight And How To Fix That

The solutions given on the post make shooting more dangerous, and make people think twice. It also makes befriending somebody an important aspect of survival, so this would help out a lot.

A A List Of Buildings That Would Be Fun To See In Chernarus

I realized the title was a little off :P
  21. Hi guys. So lets talk about cars. Currently, any vehicle is quite rare. Here are some ideas i thought of. Car Keys: So you may find a car that is locked, You may find a car that is unlocked and doesn't have a key, or You get super lucky and find a car with a key in it. Car keys would be something you could find in small houses. If you see a car parked in a garage, but it's locked, a player would most likely search the house the car is located at for a car key. Each car key model would be different, and unique for each type of car. Each car key would only work for a certain car (A toyota car key wouldn't work in a rangerover, etc.). Now you may be thinking car keys will only make the possibility of getting a vehicle super rare. My next idea could fix that... Car Dealerships/stores: They could add maybe 3 big dealerships in the map (I said big). Car dealerships will more than likely hold a good ammount of cars. Keys would also be here for cars. Cars can be randomly found in homes, but the most common place is here. Since cars are valuable, these dealerships would become a very high traffic area. Military Vehicles: Helicopters are rare, but you can find them. You can't find hmmwvs though. At big airfields, i think that maybe once in a while, a hmmwv could spawn there. These Hmmwvs could be have been used by soldiers trying to contain the infection. Maybe military offroads can spawn here too. This would help make airfields like the balota airfield more popular. More Boats: With Utes now being apart of the main map, your going to need to get there somehow. They should make boats spawn more often in ports. Also, you shuold be able to shoot out of boats. Imagine being in a speedboat chase. Helicopters: I don't think most helicopters should be military helicopters. They should be civilian / traffic helicopters. That being said, they could also add military helicopters at airfields, once again making airfields more popular. Some of the helicopter spawn points i find sort of dumb... such as ontop of a castle or in the middle of stary sobor; Who parks a helicopter in the middle of a town? Thats it. I know this one was sort of long, but it's just a collection of ideas i had. Hope you like them

    NEW BUILDING: THE MUSEAM

Museums would have to be huge for this to really work.
  23. Hi guys. The 1.7.7 update implemented a lot of changes. After thinking about them, this update will really change how bandits work. After running around in Elektro, Stary Sobor, and the North West Airfield on a hive server with 50 people on it, i could really see how life had changed. First, the obvious one is how the AS50 and M107 have been removed. This completely changes what weapons are used by snipers. Personally, i'm happy that there really aren't any more snipers in elektro, and if there are, they are a lot more rare. That being said, the main think I thought about is how zombies are a lot more dangerous now. They can now tackle you, do a lot more damage, etc. Basically, zombies are nothing like they used to be. So how would this affect bandits? Well, lets say a bandits sees somebody walking down a street in elektro. The bandit with his Lee Enfield decides to shoot the player and kill him. That weapon will attract a lot of zombies, which could easily kill the bandit if one tackles him and allows the zombies to surround him. Was the shot worth it? This is exactly what I mean. Bandits will now have to think twice before taking shots to kill people. Maybe it's not worth dealing with the new zombies. Anyway, thanks for reading. Tell me if you agree below. UPDATE: http://www.vg247.com/2013/06/13/dayz-dev-hopes-survival-emphasis-will-decrease-bandits/
